Oh right a highly rated PS4 exclusive.... I'll try not to bring up Pillars of Eternity, Cities Skylines, Elite Dangerous or the vast amount of superior performing multiplat games and the far wider range of hardware options.
Don't know why you got so many disagrees. You basically just said the same thing as the article only you used different terms.
The better LOD(level of detail) they referred to in the article=texture draw distance for those who don't know.
Console "optimization" at it's finest.
Like the way Brits get offended, yeah?
The Witcher 3 is free if you buy an Nvidia card this month..
You mentioned ND. I remember Uncharted 3 had a major issue with aiming which wasn't fixed til a little while after launch. By then most people who played at launch had completed the story.
My problem with open world games is that story-line always seems suffer as a result. There's less structure and way more chances to become sidetracked.
Keep on turnin' up Nvidia and AMD. We're definitely gonna NEED those TFLOPS for 4k and VR pretty soon!
@decrypt "i have a titan z in quad sli" but whhhyyyyyy?? That's not sane, man.
People get pissed off sometimes. So what? You'd be pissed too if it happened to you.
Here are nine reasons...
Battlefield 4
Cod Ghosts
Titanfall
Watchdogs
Destiny
Assassins Creed Unity
Masterchief collection
Evolve
The Order: 1886
This isn't a value comparison. It's simply a visual comparison. Of course a $399 (new) pc would be awful.
haha. It stands a better chance @ ultra than any other single GPU out there. You should have no problems @ 1080p at least. But who knows for sure?
VR is not some gimmicky tech like stereoscopic 3d was. Its a brand new medium entirely. It will be used for all sorts of experiences not just gaming.
I'm mainly criticizing the gameplay element itself. It's just gotten old and really had no depth to begin with IMO. Reminds me of Simon Says...anyone you know like to play that game anymore? Makes me feel like I'm not playing the game, the game is playing me. It's prompting my actions. Should I be interacting with the game, not the other way around?
I really hope these QTE games go the way of the dodo. Maybe it's just me but I don't like games that tell me what to do and press all the time. I have enough of that to deal with in real life.
Nice.
I like the controller but...
The triggers are too large and not as defined as the 360's which causes accidental presses sometimes, I've noticed.
The build quality seems less sturdy than the 360 controller too. The panels on the underside seem to creak.
I had high hopes for using it with fighting games but the dpad is just too small, making inputs less accurate in practice than I'd had hoped for.
All in all, its a nice contr...
How are half baked, uninspired, current gen AAA titles, priced at $60 supposed to compete against <$15 games that are actually *gasp* original.
nice that you brought up DS1. Currently playing it modded, 1440p@60fps on my 3 year old pc. It's by far the best Souls experience period.
