6700k is great. More cores dont equal better gaming performance a lot of the time especially in >4 threaded chips. Instructions Per Clock values(IPC) give a better take away on gaming performance. 6700k has one of the best IPCs and 8 processing threads. Youre good to go for the forseeable future. I wouldn't sweat it.
In other news. Ronald McDonald says the bigmac is delicious.
I enjoy my HTC Vive and play games nearly everyday. This past year playing GoogleEarth VR, TiltBrush, SpacePirateTrainer, Climbey, JohnWick, Subnautica, SeriousSam, Doom3, EliteDangerous, AudioShield, and Minecraft to name a few have been some of the most unique and fresh gaming experiences I've ever experienced. wouldnt conside most of the games gimmicky. One that comes to mind is Thumper felt it didnt add anything substatial to the vr version. Great Times! Im excited for the future of...
The biggest risk is never taking one. Everything worthwhile in life had a risk involved. Valve knows the risk when it set forth to create a VR system. To date the HTC Vive is the most cohesive VR experience available. It simply does everything right. I love it. Cant wait to see what they have in store for it.
MS trying to un-F itself. They are like an estranged dad that left town(pc gaming) and tried to start a new family(console gaming) Then tries to come back into your life like its all fine and dandy...while attemping to live two lives and make everyone happy with half ass bs..Nah youre just a lousy Dad.
eh. depends on the game. For the most part you are right. I have an i7/gtx1080 system and i can hit 4k@60 if i tone some settings down. BF4 is the only modern AAA title that will do 4k@60 on ultra, no compromises. This year it'll change when new AMD and Nvidia hardware launches.
30FPS performance is why consoles continue to be dead to me. Higher resolution doesnt mean a thing compared to the smooth gameplay that a PC provides. Once the PS4 exclusive library reaches a critical mass then I might be enticed to buy a PS4Pro. Oh yeah F paid to play online another scam and value vampire keeping me well away from it.
LoL. This title is dense. Scorpio doesnt need to answer sh*t if its flat out more powerful. Then the "Amazing boost mode" will seem like a moot point. What Scorpio needs is a release date and games.
All you need to do is look at 4 and 5 year olds to see what the future holds...kids perfer tablets over traditional consoles/handhelds. Laptop pc's are becoming a better option for gaming than they have been in the past aswell. Older generations are also moving to PC more too. Consoles will continue to go into decline, moving forward. Theres a lot more competition than there was in the past. Between smart phones, tablets, laptops, and gaming PCs, even smart tvs are making it harder to ...
Preordering as soon as they become available.
Zero mention of HTC Vive's new trackers?...makes me wonder if this guy even attended CES this year.
Yeah projectors are amazing for gaming. I have the Acer H6510bd projector(worth all the pennies). I wouldn't recommend them for competitive play but over all experience is much better gaming on a 113" screen. One thing I'd like to point out is the article mentions bulb life is 10,000 hours. In my experience they are all around 2 to 3 thousand hours...so game sparingly on projectors. Bulbs can run around $200 each.
2016 welcomes you..
Selling your product in bits and pieces usually doesn't bode well with consumers. It kinda fragments the user-base.
I thought the facial gestures like smiling and whatnot were cool. As a Vive owner I wonder how that works and whether its possible with my headset
Can't wait! My TI-83 is ready! xD
Sadly this was completely predictable. On the plus side this game is making great use of Steam's refund system. Currently being entertained by all the panning Steam reviews too.
Next time just do what the rest of the indie Devs do Hello and have early access or a freaking beta instead of launching your game in an Alpha state.
Probably not if you've already played the original. This is a completely new story. One of the most ambitious mods I've seen.
"How's that silver taste?"
To better establish themselves back into the market again. They havent been competitive in the high end desktop cpu market in the last 5 or so years.
