nope. 1080p (FHD) is 1k. 1440p (WQHD)is often refered to as 2k. and 2160p is UHD aka 4k. Confused yet?
I dont think AMD or Nvidia would implement a software solution ie checkerboard rendering. They want people to buy and upgrade their graphics cards to acheive 4k not use a work around that could potentially stave off an upgrade purchace.
I bought Bayonetta on PC day one and pre purchased Vanquish as well which unlocks on the 25th. Sega is happy to receive my money and I'm happy to play these games in native 4k@60fps as Gaben intended.
That tobii eye tracking is gonna add another 200 to the price. I'm expecting it the be around $1400

I don't mind the cutscenes themselves being 30fps;I can give that a pass. But the in-game climax finishers sadly get knocked down to 30fps when activated which can be a jarring experience. All in all this IS the definitive Bayonetta. A Masterpiece redeemed.
