144hz is great. freesync is good (if you have an AMD gpu). 1080p is OK. Curved is bad especially considering its a 16:9 aspect ratio panel. Theres much better options out there.

Mark my words! Fallout 4 VR will be demo'd on the HTC Vive. I'd be very suprised to see a PSVR version due to the game requiring at least 60fps for that to be feasible as per Sony's own recommendations. As we all know FO4 dosent run like that on PS4 or the pro. You can also count out FO4VR being demo'd on Oculus Rift due to the on going lawsuits between Zenimax and Oculus.
Use RivaTuner to cap the framerate to 60fps. This fixed the frame pacing issues for a number of people.

Consoles will always be limited by their form factor. They usually have just one fan and a power supply that is in the 250w or lower range. That is the reason why a ps4 is clocked at around 2ghz where as a top end Gaming PC runs at anywhere between 4 to 5ghz on the CPU and 1.6 to 2ghz on the GPU. This requires more electricity and cooling. The gtx1080ti pushes 11.5 TFLOPS the Scorpio which hasn't even seen the light of day is in the 5TFLOP range. Consoles may hit the 10+ TFLOP range ...
The article mentions noting about pirating. Emulation isn't pirating and doesn't require pirating. Do your research.

Yeah. It'll be able to run games @4k60. Not all but Id say most. I have a gtx1080 and it runs most games on ultra at around 48fps. BF1 on ultra 4k60. 1080ti is supposedly 35% faster than a 1080 so....yeah. Its a beast!
$200 price cut is big. It needed to happen though because HTC is currently owning them in the PC sphere of VR ATM. Dunno if Id recommend a Rift though. Unless your pc has 8 or so USB 3.0 outputs to spare and you feel like stringing usb cables around your room.
HTC also announced a financing program where you can get one for payments as little as $40 a month. This may ease the barrier to entry for a lot of people on the fence. I've had Vive for almost a year now and play it nearly every day.
I wouldn't be suprised if theres a policy against that practice in place by the major platform holding companies (MS, Nintendo, Valve, Sony) who have meta "acheivement" systems in place.
