I just thought:
31 May, we get to play the demo
11 June, the biggest E3 ever starts, we see PS4
14 June, we play TLOU
That will be a celebration!
There is only one Duke.
If 40 FPS = 60 FPS for you, then I rest my case.
10m copies sold and still the price is the same as day 1...
So your current PC was less than $500 but it runs all games at 60 FPS? I need to know where to buy that.
I know I'm in a minority but I don't see any advantages in having more than 30 stable, non-tearing FPS. Better physics/graphics/textures and 1080p a choice for me.
One of the reasons Microsoft (and some other companies like Apple) don't need any significant changes in their subsequent hardware revisions - people like the author of this piece will buy them without any hesitation, regardless of features or improvements. I guess it took many years to train people into consumerism to that extend but I also see it pays off well.
You can get one of those "Android mini PCs" for half the price, they do the same thing. USB adapter for it and you can connect DS3.

I see nothing's changed since the Puritans ruled the country.
People who had Shield in their hands say it's an ergonomic disaster.

I hope they utilize the compute units a lot. Superheroes made of particles or liquid not only look awesome but can also introduce new quality into game mechanics.
Mark Cerny, fingers crossed for you and I'll buy it day 1.
Always online doesn't bother me from a technical perspective as I never go offline due to my work (also paying for backup solutions in case my cable fails). What bothers me is WHY they are pushing this feature. I can only imagine it's due to harsh DRM and forced advertising that will be thrown into your face through Internet and ingame. Also, mining data of your behaviour. Always on Kinect + always online is too much for me and will be in any future I can think of. If Sony follows the...
