I find his observations more interesting in relation to guns you choose in Borderlands to play than while talking about fanboyism.
Imagine there was a forum in-game where Vault Hunters (and other characters) would argue which gun maker is the best. "Tediore for life!" "Dahl and nothing else!", "Hyperion till I die!"
When I think of such forum, I bet they'd be even more psycho midgets there than on N4G ;-)
I'd love to but I'm afraid I'll have to pay more than 400 Euros. Anyway, it seems I'll be buing it day 1.
Some people prefer high tech and quality even if it's more expensive. They should focus less on the American market which clearly likes cheap & mediocre products.
Sorry to disappoint you but current gen consoles have had DRM since day 1. You just didn't realize that...
Those are accounts, not actual users. I made 2 myself and I don't even have 360 anymore.
Points for honesty for the reviewer who admits he's just played 20 hours so far and bases his review on that. Big gaming sites don't have enough balls to do that anymore...
Stupidity of politicians killed more people than bullets.
Another World had an intro which made my jaw drop. When I saw it first, I rebooted my Amiga and watched it again before even trying the game. And then you realize that there's a seamless transition to gameplay, OMG! It was 20 years ago...
I can't read but I can write!
Maybe EU region has more PS+ subscriptions than the US region? I'm just guessing.
Ok, let's suppose they go "right" next generation:
- charge for everything, even twice
- make incredibly faulty, piece-of-crap hardware
- switch to casual mid-gen, abandoning their customers
- limit their services to the most profitable markets only
If they do it, I'll go left.
I heard the same 3 years ago and the same about hardcore Kinect titles. It turned out to be just a lie from Microsoft. I'm not wasting my money again. They lost all credibility in my eyes.
"grinding, a heavy emphasis on exploration"
I'm sold. Still no clicks for this blog.
Or maybe because it's just a plastic toy, not really a tablet.
Oh great. When I got a Sharpshooter it had to be pink not to be mistaken with a real gun. Whyyyyyyyyyy!?
MS Share or a Dollar should be there as those are the most important things for Microsoft.
This also means I never buy new games on Steam because they're up to 50% more expensive than elsewhere. So there are pros and cons.
Most people who try to compare those specs don't even know what a driver or API is. What do you expect?
I hope graphics fidelity and framerate don't overshadow other things we need next gen. I remember when HL2 was released with that incredible physics features of Source which, even better, were used in game for physical puzzles. I want new games to explore new ways we play them with more detailed and real worlds. Not many games nowadays focus on that.
It's back and running in EU, Store included.
This game is published by 2K, not Sony. There's nothing exclusive about it, just the packaging.
