Honestly it's a creepy as hell demo, good graphics, decent controls, good sense of presence and if someone says "nah this isn't scary at all" then I'm actually worried about them. But it could be 'too' scary for it to be a killer app, I don't do horror games really but I can do them on a 2D screen, in 3D I noped out a couple of times, in the real game with it being 10-20 hours long I don't see it being a takeoff success for that reason.
That user didn't mention if he was playing with the day one patch in regards to frame rate issues.
Well it's a good job it just sold 5 million copies in a day ...
If you have prime then just get it from Amazon? DLC quests and 20% off. If you don't then maybe the amazon trial works then you can cancel it?
Edit: Actually FFXV is currently 15% off on Amazon even for non prime members.
Probably unpopular but thank god, I'd rather have emotional moments other than restarting because I made a goddamn mistake and couldn't save Tali and Legion >_< 1) What...wat...no..Legion :< okay restart 2) What...wait...Tali? Wat. There's only 2 options. 3) Google, NOOOOO.
I know some people like the whole "Make choices, some of them you won't like" but I'm not playing to fuck over the characters I got to know. If they die as part ...
Do you mean the tech demo that had nothing to do with spoilers and got you an exclusive (I believe) GF? Seems a little OTT.
Goddamnit not available now, why no advertising and only one day >_<
FFVIII was amazing and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise!
Hololens isn't exactly 'innovative' what is it doing that Google Glass didn't do first? Same games, same console, same online service (integrating Xbox and PC increases player base sure but I wouldn't call it innovative), trailing on VR integration because they got caught out again. Sure it'll be more powerful but it won't be different.
So...PSVR isn't diversifying into a new type of gaming?
I agree with you about roomscale, it really is a great piece of design/tech integration if you have the space (I tried it in a gaming center in a smaller area and found myself having to constantly step back from the purple mesh 'wall' and teleport further away). But in the end it's what $800 vs $2000 gets you which I think is often understated. If you have a PS4 but no PC then $399 vs $2000, PC no ps4 then $800 vs $800 but which is more likely.
Went in somewhat dubious expecting another castigation of men demeaning women in videogames but was pleasantly surprised at the, for once, mostly even take on both sides, especially this quote which I feel actually attempts to reason out why we see so much overt female sexualization as opposed to male:
" As it is while depictions of female nudity and sexuality, weaponised or otherwise can often scrape an ESRB T (Teen) rating in the US, or 15 rating in the UK, depiction...
I don't think that you can take products that are $600-$800 and require a $1000 + PC (only 8 million possible customers at the time of the Vives release worldwide) and extrapolate it to a $400 investment with a ready customer base of 40 million people worldwide.
The Order cost me $60, this cost me $15. Personally I think it should have been more along the lines of $10 but with the small install base at the start I feel that slightly higher prices are on the cards until the base grows.
Actually on Amazon it's $15 if you're a member.
Just fyi, loading human is $40 / game (4 hour experience) so it's going to be $160-$200 to play it all. Confirmed in tweet by devs. Totally bummed about it :(
I think clickbait has reached never before seen levels.
I remember the Dead Space Move game was pretty awesome, having to take out those bolts while keeping an eye out for necromorphs and slicing off their limbs/heads as they clambered towards you was great. Actually that should be remade/released with VR in mind. Having to look around as you complete tasks just to see some necromorph leaping for your face.
And Here they Lie
Huh...good way to annoy the crap out of your existing customers.
