Do you use chocobos regularly? That speeds things up, as does quick travel and sprinting is infinite if you have good timing (click sprint just before the bar runs out and you flash green and the bar refills, repeat forever).
I don't think traveling is slow personally. It's much faster than the older games where you had to run around on the over map with random encounters and finding specific places in towns. I can just auto travel or quick travel.
Really smart people order through Amazon Prime as they get 20% off up to 2 weeks after release so they can read reviews.
Yup, nothing at all. http://www.metacritic.com/b...
If this is indeed cheaper than the competition it just makes me think "Why didn't they go the unorthodox route in design but keep the power in line with the competition" Then they'd be getting the games in the same quality as Sony and MS with the added selling point of their unique hardware and portability. Could have used the dock a lot more. If it were a hundred dollars more (Assume a $300 price point now) to add this extra oomph then I would have been happy with that. ...
What? Graphically stunning, plot average but comprehensible, characters mostly fleshed out. Am I one of the only people who liked Kingsglaive? I did feel that it lacked a satisfying ending as it then led into FFXV so as a stand alone that was problematic, but I don't think that it was a failure of a movie.
I don't get the downvotes you're getting, I'm not sure why people like the idea of running around and around hoping that a RNG will proc the encounter you need, or worse that you can go more than 15 steps without yet another encounter popping up. Just trying to look down that corridor? That's 2 random encounters, trying to go look in an earlier area? That's a bunch more random encounters you'll get no XP or worthwhile items for. Accidentally get out of your level z...
Seems to finally be a RE game in the spirit of the earlier ones and not RE:CoD

Well...unless it's surgeon simulator or Octodad.
@LamerTamer
I agree it could be seen as a trope but I haven't played Condemned or Thief reboot and it's been like 9 years since I saw it in Bioshock. It just makes a difference when it happens because you turned around and it's right in front of you. I was playing Until Dawn last night and it's literally every B movie trope there is and couldn't help but think that if it was in VR I wouldn't have gotten past the first chapter or 2.
Is this also the story patch?
Playing RE7 in 2D, no problem, playing it in 3D holy shit what's up the stairs? FUCK, oh it's nothFUCK, oh no it's just a few mannequins *turn right then turn back* fuck the mannequins moved!! *turn left* GODDAMN ANOTHER MANNEQUIN WHERE THE CRAP DID THIS COME FROM *NOPE*
So we're going to be 4 years in, with PS4 Pro and possibly a stronger Scorpio releasing and here comes switch being weaker than the OG versions of both systems...wat. I just don't get where the get the idea that people don't care about graphics/strength/effects etc. Sure gameplay is important but it's supported by strength. The wii was unique in that it tapped a new user base due to the motion controls, wii u couldn't do that. So we've got a new console that's m...

Holy shit, I still haven't completed this demo, have to keep psyching myself up to go back, just made it down to the basement before noping out this time.
So...should I stop playing? And by that I mean, because it's awesome but I also won't play it again as I have a family, 2 jobs, and no time to go back and see the better stuff once I've finished it once.
? I play FFXV on the base model and haven't noticed any problems with it. Occasional texture pop in on first load but after that it's solid. I understand there to be frame drops in later cities (I'm only in chapter 3) but for now after 11 hours it seems fine.
Didn't you know? That's for the guys so we can feel totally manly, women don't like looking at buff guys /s
In which case no game would ever get a 10/10 as by definition 'perfect' is unattainable. Most people I know take 10/10 to mean nothing in the game has lowered your enjoyment of the game at all in any way. No "Oh I wish they'd done it this way" or "eh, that bit was annoying but everything else was fine" I also don't think this should have a 10/10, 9/10 if you want to say it's a phenomenal game marred by slight issues like camera.
Nowadays I think that it would take a certain amount of dedication to hold to the ink ribbon. Used to be you had to leave your console on/lose progress if you had to go out etc. Nowadays "Hold button-->Power-->Suspend " makes it so much more tempting (though on second thoughts playing through in VR makes it more likely as suspending screws up tracking etc for many).
