If it's cold outside, I would wear sweatpants and a hoodie all day. I've got those, the cheaper and acceptable to walk my dog in. If someone wants to spend $75 on this, or if Sony had similar attire, good for them and their use of expendable income.
Nothing embarrassing about this onesie. What would be? People wouldn't go into public with these on unless they're already the type to go out in sweats.
Or at least once you're* old enough to use proper grammar and bathe* yourself.
Is that what you were told by the same person telling you that you're too old to play Pokemon?
The article is labeled "Opinion Piece"... Evidence? Lol
That's a standard like-for-like comparison too - BFV is one of the few games that actually takes advantage of RTX features so the Radeon wouldn't look as good if those benchmarks were ran
Windows Central is a Microsoft news site. Of course they're going to report on it, what do you expect? Just like MacRumors reporting on Apple getting a Google employee.
Why is it that users on this site looove to complain about articles they have no interest in? Can't journalists just write articles for their target audience without people treating every small thing as "blowing up" or "shoving it in our face"?
I do agree on trying other genres, but I suppose at least Battle Royale is something different to bring new life to shooters. That and Destiny/Division/Anthem's attempts at persistent worlds.
Not many genres have tried really branching out the way shooters have this gen. Beyond Souls-likes, I can't of a JRPG innovation at least, Western RPGs seem to be going back to their roots in certain ways like Divinity and Pillars of Eternity. Racing games are still either circ...
Tell me, what should be controversial about this? Unless you are *really, really* looking to complain about something.
"Someone on this blog I hate posted something I hate, omg Karen! Can you believe that?! Just wait until they hear from me on this third-party site they probably won't read!"
Comments like 90% of those here are why Kotaku and "SJW" "trash" are allowed.
Do you read the comments? It's smut like those. People whining incessantly about stuff they don't want to see or hear or read about. Those handful of ads per user visiting these types of articles are really nice for N4G.
Why would N4G pull them down when the whiners make them the most popular/commented/trafficked posts *by far*?
To a black female, seeing this might be cool, especially since they may have parents or grandparents that grew up not being allowed in even the same school or bathroom as their next door neighbors.
To those who may say "Oh a black girl who cares?", good on them; their experience is neither improved nor lessened by this inclusion. But someone else may feel just a little bit happy to play someone a little closer to who they are.
And in a game like...
Why do articles like this trigger you so much?
The characters are black - get over it. For all you know, the artist that designed it was black. Maybe it was that simple. Characters that are human, with human characteristics and traits, aren't pandering; it's called existing.
If people write articles like this, don't read it. You literally waste more time whining about it than they did writing it. How is this losing EA/Respawn money in any way...
Does the Steam version of the game have these functions when we use a DS4 on PC?
One they literally don't say (it's just they... And they are wearing a helmet), and the other just says "his boyfriend" in a story.
Polar vortex is bringing out the anti-SJW snowflakes.
If you actually read the bios, one of these characters literally has no label. They also wear a helmet.
The other notes just "he and his boyfriend".
Had it said girlfriend and "she" instead of they, NONE of us would be discussing this. Literally two words and suddenly it's this huge agenda.
Think about how many words are wasted complaining about just two words
I had no idea ads were in there and I collected every single orb when I played. I searched the web and the first forum thread I found was someone thinking they were cool lol, from 11 years ago.
So yeah... I still can't remember. They definitely weren't obtrusive, "completely sabotage" is hyperbole.
Is that some sort of implication that Republicans and their Jesus have any leg to stand on when they bend over backwards to defend Trump? What about the countless anti-homosexual Republican lawmakers that get caught having sex with men?
My advice to you is stop playing Identity and realize that awful people will be awful people regardless of what they identify as.
And blaming the largest generation in the world isn't ruining anything?
What's really "ruining" the world is the unbridgeable gap of misunderstanding.
Groups thinking they can pander and that it'll make all better.
Groups that throw blame broadly without knowing who they're actually mad at.
Groups that stay stagnant and refuse to accept even slight changes.
Groups that refuse to look in the mirror and r...
I agree. Representation is good. All types of people play games, therefore all types of people should be represented in games *where* the narrative lets you craft your character and experience.
But Battle Royale? There's no meaningful benefit to any community for doing that.
I'm gay but even things like these are irritating to me. Marriage equality has passed, public acceptance grows higher and higher, I don't need or want these companies pandering to me like I'm some dainty outcast they need to check a box for. I want to be treated normal, and shoehorning in these details for non-story games does just the opposite.
To be fair, it isn't the "SJW" stuff in itself. It's *how* they tend to do it by shoving it out in everyone's faces, sparking us-vs-them arguments and patting themselves on the back instead of just letting it speak for itself when the game releases.
Apex Legends has two black female characters. Respawn put them in there and made no fuss or special callout "Hey hey, look at what I did!" Because Respawn got it - there's no point to incite s...
I suppose you don't see the irony and hypocrisy of telling others to grow up, when you're trying to suggest what adults should and should not wear in the privacy of their own home?
Maybe, instead, you stop worrying about what other adults find worthy of being lazy in. That's concerning on your mental state to be so against this lol
