He's an fantastic journalist. I hope his efforts lead to change for developers but I'm afraid unless they unionize, we can look forward to more of these articles next generation as those games will be even more expensive to produce for even greedier publishers.

I haven't played the first two but Quantum Break was a good game. It was fun, the story didn't stretch itself thin, and the time mechanics were neat. Not a console seller but it doesn't deserve to be shamed. Had it released as a $30-$40 game, or on Game Pass at release, it would've been viewed a lot more favorably.
Demos still exist, though fewer and far between. Trials I prefer, because demos take away from Dev time or they're from some pre-release build.
But Game Pass is fantastic. Think of it as a premium demo service that allows you to trial 100+ titles (and every Halo fps in 4k60fps) at any time and play them as long as you want, through the end and more.
This is testing for the native Xbox One version of Halo: Reach, the one announced just a couple weeks ago for MCC that's getting built up with 60fps 4K HDR support

Time manipulation and powers, the stuttering world's visual 'glitching' as time crumbles, live-action and in-engine cutscenes.
I thought it was gloriously weird, not what I would think of as a mainstream third-person cover shooter.
PSVR2 is what we need, on a more capable PS5. PSVR now does what it needs to well and people are buying it because of that.
And v2 will [hopefully] have new controllers, I'm more concerned about that.

It means that Steam's legacy and the negative blowback from the sudden platform switch didn't hurt Metro's sales potential.
It's enough of a percentage to let Metro Exodus sell 2.5x more than Last Light did on Steam at launch.

The article makes no mention of actual sales figures and EA didn't have a bragging press-release after release boasting its numbers (which every publisher does when they're proud of launch success - look at AC Odyssey, Far Cry 5, Apex Legends, God of War, Spider-Man).
Android TV is on only like one or two manufacturers. LG has webOS, TCL uses Roku, Samsung uses their Tizen.
My 4K Samsung's smart features are so slow I'd use anything over them.
Digital Foundry also said it was comparable to Xbox One X input latency on the 30fps Assassins Creed Odyssey. They couldn't give a specific figure because they didn't know the latency introduced by the Pixelbook display.

I played Halo 5 when they had the Head to Head playlist up in Ranked. Actually got friend requests and a surprisingly high number of "gg" messages after our matches; it was surprisingly refreshing
The whole point is that this game *could* be for everyone who is interested in the story/aesthetic but may have awful hand-eye coordination. FROM loses nothing from their vision by having a lower difficulty, because the standard git-gud mode would still be the default. They could implement accessibility for the lesser-skilled in a way that totally makes fun of them. Pink blood, no trophies, crybaby sounds, "YOU [STILL] DIED [WIMP]" messaging, whatever they want.
