Why should the onus *always* be placed on the people receiving the shit talk instead of the people dishing it out?
It's awful on Siege, I played one match and was cursed at and put up for voting out just because on my *first* time playing I picked a bundled character.
He means the Hands Off Approach where Valve says they'll not interfere, until they decide to, unless they don't, except for when rape games or slaughter games start appearing, because a Hands Off Approach is impossible to maintain but people buy into the phrase anyway.
If I want a cheaper game system for my bedroom that also streams 4k video apps, why is having this "garbage" option worse than nothing at all? Not every game I want on Game Pass is a 50GB+ behemoth and PC gamers have been toootallly fine with all digital for like a decade.
It would be a great way to demo new games, if nothing further, but it all depends on pricing. Thousands/millions of 10+TFLOP GPUs cannot be cheap to maintain, and streaming 4k60fps will absolutely destroy even the typical 1TB broadband data limit in urban areas of the US.
Crackdown 3 as-it-was-announced seems like the perfect type of game for Stadia, funny enough. Google even had a quick reference to an open-world destructible game.
One of my favorite experiences this gen was Hellblade and I finished it within a single 24 hours. Bayonetta 1 on Switch I'm almost done with after just a dozen hours, and I'm loving it. Playing Far Cry 5 alongside that and petting Boomer at the end makes every firefight worth it.
God of War and Spider-Man both took like 50 hours, Horizon was almost 70 for me. They each exceeded my high expectations for them.
None of these games have similar gamepl...
Plus Epic states the information isn't collected unless you authorized it. So can someone who *isn't* an armchair activist verify that piece of the puzzle?
Looking above it seems everyone's mind is made up before even seeing for themselves.
Is this game the only example in gaming history of a title being announced at a first-party's keynote speech that went on to become [and remain] a crowd-sourced title? I understand it's got a publisher now but still... It seemed awkward to me, a vote of next-to-no confidence but just enough to give it time in the spotlight.
I'm still able to put my Ninja Gaiden disc from the OG Xbox in and it works better than ever on my One X. Not that I need the disc, since it's on Game Pass.
On PSN I purchased God of War for cheaper than it was at retail that week. I own the original trilogy on disc but I can't play any of them on my PS4... Every single purchase I've ever made on Steam on PC has been cheaper than those games ever were at retail too (and hey, they all work on my PC!). In a fe...
That's some high level reaching. Tell me: since 2013, which of the big three has received the harshest criticism and which has done the most to address it in a way that most benefits the users?
Can't be Nintendo. You can't even copy a game save onto an SD Card.
Can't be Sony. They are censoring major releases now (DMC5), have successfully adopted Microsoft's awful 360 marketing strategy of securing 3rd party timed DLC exclusives, and their Cross...
According to this it's literally the worst opening in franchise history...
How many companies are willing to spend the five years it takes to build experiences like that?
She's stating truth. And it's reality for Potentially any industry. Take movies for example, usually the biggest winners at the awards aren't the highest earners, and the highest earners are typically well known franchises from big name corporations
Why would the failure of a service-based game be good news for another service-based game that released earlier and received worse feedback?
I'm not clicking to read the article because there isn't any logically-based answer.
^ And that, gentlepeople, is the mentality that corporations want us to have: that your work is more important than your livelihood. 135 degrees with no wind and a janked up spine to build someone's posh pool to sip mimosas in? That is allowing yourself and your dignity (not to mention basic health) to be exploited for someone else's entertainment.
You're the one making it a fanboy comment. For all you know he could be referring to OG Xbox One and Xbox One S.
Even if it's about PS4, he's not knocking it, just stating the obvious fact that something with much more power looks much better.
Well... 16 weeks is basically 4 months soooooo I'll ignore your math.
Either way they frame it, it is dramatic so there's no need to complain about their wording. Fortnite is absurdly huge and Apex is hitting those huge numbers in a quarter of the time.
The kind from a website that *still* hasn't updated its awful 90's-era web design. They even have a PS2 link in the nav bar!
HZD Complete Edition for like $10-$15 was the best 60 hours! Idk what was more $/hr, the game or my PS4 Pro's electrical draw
As good as those games are, they're investments. Not everyone has 20 hours to finish a story, let alone 40-50+.
God of War is a once-in-a-generation type of game but a shorter game like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice can also have an effectively-told story at a quarter of the length.
Logic would've told us that Quantic Dreams titles weren't coming but here we are.
You're just being a dick, Doos.
