This definitely sold me on the game. It looks freaking incredible.
Spider-Man 2 was my GOTY last year.
FFXVI was probably my biggest disappointment of the year but that's not stopping FFVII Rebirth from being my most anticipated title this year.
Xbox's increased support should hopefully pay dividends to other games/developers in getting updates out quicker especially as it relates to PC.
PC Game Pass titles are so second class compared to Steam versions; the lack of parity should be an embarrassment to them.

TLOU Part 2 is one of my top 3 games of all time. It took me almost 4 weeks, even during lockdown. Your broad generalization is a bad take.
Then I guess you can enjoy another year of PS5 relying on third parties again.
I want to be excited for this game but I don't think it knows what it wants to be. The guns, the flying, the zipping around, the jankiness, the weirdly flat lighting, all come together in trailers so far in a way that makes it seem like a knockoff of better games that inspired it.
How Long to Beat has TLOU Part 2 at 24 hours of just mainlining the story with nothing else.

Yeah I made sure the console was 120hz and did a full shutdown between two sessions of the demo. I play Halo Infinite at 120 and that definitely hits it (the obvious motion clarity + in-game frame counter).
But Prince of Persia was definitely still outputting at 60fps and swapping tv inputs in the same scene between PS5 and XSX, the PS5 version was running at its full 120 - absolutely zero blur in the fine lines of the background and foreground statues.
Legit question for Prince of Persia - I got it on PS5 (physical) because the demo played so well on it. So vibrant, controls tight, and super smooth 120fps.
On Xbox Series X, was the demo borked or something, restricted to only 60fps? Xbox has pretty much been my platform of choice for Ubisoft titles but I couldn't this time with something so obviously wrong that contradicted the claim (and tech analyses) that the XSX version was also 120.
Pentiment is pretty perfect actually for streaming, and As Dusk Falls.
ADF is the first game I played exclusively on my phone through to the end, Pentiment will be the second.
If Call of the Sea is still on Game Pass I'd recommend that too, but other walking-sim/slower paced games like The Medium or Scorn I'd stay away from - lower resolution and compression would make their darker aesthetic pretty awful and muddy even if you've got an OLED ph...
Part 1 also had less content than the Remastered PS4 release with no MP mode and the UK if I recall also got shafted on the Firefly Edition
(Where in the US they used FedEx and did everything they could to scuff up the casing during shipment)
