Overall, not a bad list, but why would you put in number 6, as a joke, it's not even funny.
Anyway, I kind of agree with point 2, in that Sony really need to pump out some stellar games right from the get go with PS4, and same with PSP2 when they get round to that.
It obviously needs better tech, and I agree especially that it needs more RAM. The PS3 has 256MB of the stuff, that is simply pathetic. I had a computer in 1999 - before PS2 - which had more RAM than ...
Get real people. Sony will give this game a huge amount of press including a full blown announcment of details, release date etc at E3. Why would hte release it in two months from now, they are going give it a long time on the preorder market before release to rebuild the hype that they have lost over the last year or so, and so they can rake in some huge preorder numbers.
I agree that games definetly should draw from religious culture. The Bible for one is a very interesting book (I'm an atheist as well btw), with many a gruesome story that could make even Kratos blush.
But I don't think there is any need or indeed a market for a game that tries to push religion onto you as fact. It simply wouldn't work. Perhaps they could go down the Heavy Rain route. Think about it, you could start of an atheist, and then your kid gets taken away from you for ...
Seriously, what a load of BS. Think about what that would mean. If the 8th SPE was left aside just for the other OS function, then surely it would be logical to say that this means that the other OS would be running only on that SPE. Agreed? Well this clearly isnt the case, if it was then that particular OS would be run incredibly slowly. Does the other OS function also have 5Mb of RAM set aside for it? Of course not, that's not how it works at all.
I think it highlights that t...
A lot of Sony games in there selling well, Wii Software sales have really dropped of in Japan lately.
The fist paragraph of that article makes no sense. I must admit though I have been feeling my heart rate rise playing a lot of the latest PS3 games.
All of those things they are looking to do look great, especially removing shotguns and machine pistols from secondary. Seriously, dual wielding those guys makes them way stronger than all of the primary weapons, which is pretty stupid.
However, I wouldn't move the knife to a secondary weapon, the knifing is great in MW2, all though I have to admit it is a little bit too effective. It would be perfect if they made the knife slightly less effective than it is in MW2, and then a...
I seriously doubt it's an official release date, for a game like Crysis 2, which has extremely high production time frames, it's too hard to nail it down so soon.
The Septmeber 24 release date that was mentioned earlier is certainly wrong as well, as EA have stated that Crysis 2 will be released in Q4 2010.
I'm not sure if it's more than likely, but it is certainly a distinct possibility. Won't happen till late 2011 though if it does happen.
I think GOWIII looks better, as in I prefer looking at it than UC2, but UC2 does have better texture resolution etc etc. Lighting in GOWIII is pretty impressive though, you have to admit.
Never played the original, but I'm liking the look of this one. As soon as I'm done with HR and GOWIII I'll go pick it up.
Seriously, I doub't it. I played the first one through in pretty much one sitting from about midnight to 7 in the morning (and a bit another day), and I have to say that I was never frightened, and in fact I was seriously bored with killing the enemies. I just wanted them to go away so I could get on with the story. Come to think of it, it wasn't so much that they were boring to fight, it was just that everytime you entered a new room, BAM more enemies to fight. It just got too repetive, and ...
How do you manage to get disagrees for that, it's a fact...
It certainly seems like it should be, all the awesome games that just landed on this thing over the last 12 months, the last 6 in particular. The PS3's TIME will be when GT5 finally lands though. I'm still betting it will come out within a month of Halo Reach, it would be a good move by Sony to distract attention from it.
I've never really played much MoH, but this game should be good from what I'm hearing. Perhaps DICE will go back to BF2 style MP for this one?
2K Games would have been hoping for more from BioShock 2 I would say. Its a good game and deserves more support from PS3 owners in particular.
Good article from Edge there. Crysis 2 is looking good so far, can't wait to play it.
Agreed Chaostar, its a good way to get people to not respect your website by talking trash about something you haven't used.
What a non story. Seriously, who would have expected such a trivial bug to cause a noticable drop in patronage of MW2 servers? Not me thats for sure. Considering there are plenty of other reasons not to play the game, this one is insignificant.
I don't know why people trust what these dodgy translation from some Spanish website has to say over what Microsoft execs have to say. Oh hang on, they actually say Natal is revolutionary and functions properly. Scrap that.
From what I've seen of Natal, the thing simply doesn't work, It's kinda a nice idea, but their implementation looks rushed and shoddy, which I guess is why its on X360 after all...
