Deus ex: Human Revolution E3 2010 trailer was phenomenal.
Yeah, I'd much rather live here in Aus than in America, land of religious domination. No thanks.
That's how much eb charges for most new games over here. Most recently GOW3 and FF13 were $120.
But people still buy new games from them, which is sad, because Kmart/Target often have new games for 80, and JB HiFi usually is around 90, 100 at absolute most.
In aus, we get ripped off, PS3 cost $500, games cost ~ $100. We're used to it, but it's still sh*t
God it's hard to decide these days isn't it? And as I am upgrading my PC next week, I'm also gonna have to choose which platform to get the games on (PC or PS3, no 360 for now).
So right now, here is my top 10 most wanted games, why I want them, and which platform I want them on:
1: Crysis 2 (PC and PS3) - PC for mods, graphics, superior controls, PS3 because that's what my friends are getting and trophies. I found the original to be as t...
There is an unwillingness amongst game developers to make new game modes, and its starting to get my goat. If there aren't a couple of new modes in Black Ops, then I will be very dissapointed.
Quake, System Shock, Far Cry, Battlefield 2 (I know it, or at least the console version of it, is on 360), Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex and Op Flashpoint 1 would be great for me.
I'm surprised that MS/Sony, particularly Ms haven't tried to port some of those old titles onto 360/PS3.
The old Delta Force games would be pretty cool. They were pretty much my first shooters, and although going and playing them today, the graphics are so bad that I can barely play the game, it still brings back fond memories.
Pity about the latest DF games though....
I doubt it will be another full R&C. ACiT came out just a while back, and its been a full year longer since we saw something from Resistance. And I would hazard a guess that EA would love to reveal Insomniac's multiplat at E3 2011.
So, it's either something from the world of Resistance, a smaller R&C like Quest for Booty, or not a game, i.e. some books/comics/merchandise or a movie tie-in.
Resistance 2 was a great game in my opinion. Sure the camapaign could have been a bit more interesting, but the MP was fantastic fun, and the co-op missions were a terrific addition as well. The ability to log in to more than one PSN account at once should be in every shooter with split-screen online.
Confirmed: They aren't making uncharted 3.
I kid...
I'd rather Sony SM moved onto a new IP. Based on GOWIII, they obviously have the talent to make great games, but I dont know if they have enough new ideas to warrant another game. If they do though, bring it on.
Ok, so its not the best FPS out there, I'm sure most gamers will agree with us here, but it's a good game to have on hand if you have a few friends over and just want to have some good simple fun. A game that you just play every so often like COD is not the sort of game that would fit a subscription model for me. But you can't deny that there are a lot of people who play this game for hours on end day after day.
No
Not big games apparently?
Speaking of huge titles, how could you not mention Black Ops and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood?
If you take away the nostalgia that surrounds those games though, you would have a damned hard time trying to come up with a credible argument that would place them in the top 5.
Are you seriously trying to suggest that Halo and Gears are not AAA games. Mate I don't know how dark the tinting on your fanboy glasses are, but you are either trolling or a halfwit.
I'm guessing you are trolling. How are games like Half Life 2, BioShock, Modern Warfare, Forza, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Battlefield etc etc not AAA titles?
Essentially you are suggesting that there are at best 10 AAA games on PS3 by suggestin...
Who is saying that this is the final stand then? At the end of R2 the humans only just landed there first blow to the chimera, there's still a long way to go in this war, and if the series is done before Resistance 5 then they will be bringing it to a close too soon.
Perhaps you should lower your standards? Actually just shift them, there are plenty of games that you should be more excited about than KZ3.
Edit @ Above/Below: Well above you aren't interested in any games but KZ3, yet below you state that you are going to purchase some other games as well, so surely you must be interested in them if you are considering purchasing them.
Anyway, I take back what I said before (although I'll leave it above so I can...
Agreed, but I love everything to do with Crytek so my opinion is somewhat biased. I was kinda hoping for gameplay from that trailer, but what we got was good enough.
