It's funny, because if this was Crytek saying this, they would be accused of attacking the competition...
Good to see they are confident they have solved the hit detection issues. Battlefield games have always been plauged with poor hit detection, it would be shame to inflict the same problem upon MoH.
Wel, if we can see that Crysis 2 looks better from a blurry video than kz2 from a clear video, then imagine how it will look when we get to play it.
And why not, it looks great.
I thought R1 had a better campaign than R2, but vis versa for the MP.
Unlikely. If so, pretty poor marketing ploy if they only want people to be interested in Move just as its release is imminent.
Shovelware? I think that's pretty disrespectful to the developer to be honest. They've clearly put quite a lot of effort into making this game the best it can be, minor graphical/performance issues on consoles aside.
Crysis 2 MP does looks pretty amazing from what I've seen so far, despite what some of the nay-sayers on here have said. I'm pretty pumped for Medal of Honour after I saw "The Catalyst" trailer, that was a well produced trailer if ever I saw one.
@ HeroXIV - I too want to start easing away from being an FPS focused gamer, towards more RPG's, platformers etc. I think there is certainly room for a focused FPS with some RPG elements. Think BioShock taken...
unrealistic physics just because it "didnt have tuning". - that person has issues. What bearing does tuning have on physics quality?
In any case, I'm glad GT5 seems to have an in-depth tuning system. I missed it in Prologue.
I dunno, Crysis 2 looks pretty sexy. As does Gran Turismo 5.
@ Shoko - Yeah, but the point the author is making still stands, that videogames just cannot emulate what the real thing can do.
"Digital double-D's in video games? Just not doing it like the real things" Thus, 3D gaming is born.
Because it will look worse (on 360) assuming he has a half decent PC. Personally I also prefer precision offered by a mouse
My self, I'm either gonna get PC and PS3 or PC nano edition
Particle effects look a little bit off, but otherwise textures and lighting look amazing for a console game
Seriously infamous 2 does not have great graphics. From what we've seen, lighting looks a bit off, and the textures, even the cobbled roads which are an essential part of New Orleans, are as flat as PS2 era games. Not impressed, and this Is coming from an infamous fanboy.
I don't understand why anyone would rather use a controller than keyboard and mouse. Sure you can sit further away, but nothing can match the precision and speed of a decent mouse and keyboard.
So in other words you would rather have no game at all instead of a game with somewhat poor graphics and good gameplay? Download the demo, it ain't half bad.
Third best actually. PC, 360, Teh Cell!
True, but nd just seem to feel the need to show off the fact that they aren't fanboys. Iys saying I'm not racist, but... Stop trying to be loved by everyone ND, and just stick to making games
My vote would be for Red Dead Redemption, LBP 2, GT 5, Halo, Black Ops, Heavy Rain, GOW III, ME 2, SC 2, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, BioShock 2, Bad Company 2, or Vanquish.
Been a pretty good year for gamers so far, september to November period is gonna be insane.
