Loved the beta, whopping ass with Kratos so a Day 1 buy for me!
Who else watched the PSASBR MLG games?
And i wouldnt be surprised for the full games to have more modes with some kind of health system or other ways of scoring such as capture the flag. But i personally thought the Super system works so well, the choice between the 3 levels really creates a paradigm which makes for fun matches.
Such a shame, glad i'm importing Ragnarok Odyssey, think its one of those titles which might not see the light of day in Europe, especially now.
It's all about incentives. There honestly is no reason to buy a 'mainstream' game Day 1. If its from a big Publisher dlc/locked content is a given at this point in time. Also likely to have tons of bugs. And a 'complete' edition is just a few months away which will include all the content and be rid of the bugs.
So honestly Day 1 purchasers get a raw deal.
This is further exemplified by the fact just days to weeks after a game has launched...
Sony are sometimes too creative for their own good. They usually do their brand marketing in waves. i.e. an ad campaign purely focused on generating hype. So they put out arty commercials that don't sell anything. But I think they are hoping that they go 'viral' like their TV division did with the Bravia.
But what actually sell's products is plain old here's the products, here is what it does and this is why you should buy it now!. Tried and tested through...
100 quid just so about 60 + quid just for an action figure. No thank you ;)
@LiViNgLeGaCY
actually that's great! As my biggest problem with importing would be the dlc / online pass codes. So this means i can now import with out any worries! Thank you!
Can you tell me if the game came with DLC codes?
Yeh i want to import too as we're not hearing anything about a European release. The only thing that's holding me back is that it comes with dlc codes.
Same here, 404 error
Loved Tales From Space Mutant Blob. So I'm guaranteed to love this one also. Great editorial piece, we need more like that.
I believe they were visual novel type games right? And I think the new Robotics;Notes is a similar style.
And you can already start seeing people playing more tactically as the beta's time goes on.
People all fighting in one area bunched together is a recipe for disaster, so I've noticed players are tending to be more cautious in ffa mode and pick there shots and leave just in case for example a Kratos level 2 is triggered.
And really this is only a small sample of whats to come. I'm expecting the full game to be really diverse.
Been playing the heck out of it, really fun game.
Was dubious the no health, super system wouldn't work. But it does, it works really well.
I would expect other modes though in the final version.
Damn, i may just have to buy 2 then. Cos both those statues look awesome. And different game covers / posters too!
As far as i am aware this is a completely separate story. Although small things do make reference for the previous game but you don't need to have played the original no.
thank you. And yeh I'm also quite surprised with the Yakuza numbers. Have to believe the majority of that is from Japan though! love those games :D
Does anyone know if this game has an Online Pass? As i really want to import it to the UK.

There was a report by Oxfam (the charity) who were talking about Bangladesh where they had massive amounts of child labour. The western world took note and cried (think of the children!, how dare they be working!). So they passed a law in Bangladesh making it illegal for children to work.
So what happened? Those children instead went to work in prostitution or starved to death, There are worse things than working in a sweat shop. No body ever asks, why are these children work...
Yep when i saw the UK limited edition my instant thought was rip-off. Works out like 60-70 quid for just one figure :/
