@krib
You're going to get better frame rate and and graphics with the CPU and GPU, but the SSD will make texture loading and asset streaming much better, and it should change game design significantly.
This is, of course, on a per developer basis, but the tech is there for them to make use of.
@israrai
I feel exactly the same. I've played on one controller for months and switched to the other with no muscle memory issue or any other issue at all.
Next gen is about better everything but games will be what what developers prioritize.
Yeah, it looks like a great controller to hold.
Thumbstick placement has never mattered for me and I'm good either way.
This is wild.
They think everything is about their personal console war.
This is for collectors and fans of the game - not a saving throw.
"The real question is why does its place in the market have such an obviously drastic impact on your life?"
I really, really don't understand what drives people to adopt this combative attitude toward people who prefer another brand. If you love something, great, but leave others in peace with their preferences.
There's absolutely no excuse to attack others based on their preference. I don't care how 'passionate' you say you...
Does it really matter?
Just finished this gem on Game Pass. Every playthrough, every achievement, every quest. Really, really enjoyed this one.
Very cool and stylistic. Love the Dead City - probably one of the coolest areas I've ever seen in a game. Platinum didn't try too hard graphically and it worked out well. The textures are a mixed bag, but the presentation and atmosphere are great.
Let's have more.
I think the console looks fantastic.
This is going to make some collectors very happy.
There are different gangs and different areas with different color themes. I don't think this game has one color theme that speaks to the whole game.
The blue and yellow seems to be the most used, but I do like the controller. For people that prefer matching everything, I get that this could be a turnoff, but I don't think it's wrong as far as the color palette goes.
"Let me show you why I'm known as Lightning."

RCR all day back in the day.
I'm in.
Absolutely loved Observer.
I actually like it, but I won't be getting it. I stick with what comes with the console.
@Kingthrash
Nobody really knows what Halo Infinite is exactly. We can guess, we can hope, and we can wait, but as of now none of us know.
Where did you hear these things?
You follow the industry like the rest of us.
If Microsoft had changed that policy you certainly would have known about it - you came here to agitate.
@Razz
I never said anything about fanboys - the other guy did.
Objectively (I'll say it again) the controller was poor and lacking. The hand feel was bad for many of us - was too small. The grips were too short and the thumbsticks had poor resistance.
These complaints came from industry persons and gamers and weren't argued based on brand loyalty or opposition, or any of that type of nonsense. 'Too' many people didn'...
@Razz
You can say "Fixed" until the cows come home but it doesn't alter the statement or sentiment contained therein in any way.
The consensus among the gaming community/industry is that the DS3 was a poor controller, else it wouldn't have changed or evolved. It was thought to be poor by gamers and all manner of industry persons. It was objectively poor and subsequently changed.
I'm using it correctly Razz, and you...
@sdplisken
I agree, but not necessarily in that order.
