Glorious viking settlements. Vikings with majestic, highly detailed beards. Brutal and visceral, blood, gut, and saliva slinging combat replete with all manner of dismemberment. Badass longships.

Odyssey took hours of my life, but I enjoyed every moment of combat and gorgeous visuals. Ubi's rendition of the acropolis and temples was so well done, and as historically accurate as possible.
I'm genuinely excited to see more of this game. I love the Viking world. I love Scandinavia and Scandinavian culture, and lately I've been loving Assassin's Creed.
But, I don't want to appear too gleeful and gloss over things that actually suck...
Trying to be a bully? Bullying? That's rich. I certainly haven't "bullied" anyone, nor have I ever. You can't give me a "dose of medicine" if you're not winning the argument.
Good posters (or speakers in general) provide evidence to back up their claims when they're arguing with or debating someone - it's the right and correct thing to do. If you think that's "petty" I honestly feel a bit sorry for you.

Yeah, Cyberpunk sounds reasonable seeing as they haven't shown anything in awhile, and have just been introducing gangs. I could easily see that among the showings.

Of course it's not wrong to want to see exclusives, but it's been known for awhile now that this won't be the case. As you know, she's not innocently stating her desire to see exclusives. Your sword and shield act are as disingenuous as her comments.
Every story beat - every single one is separated by a massive amount of meaningless filler that adds nothing to the game.
The first indication of this is the Air Buster section, where you run between identical looking rooms, fighting identical looking grunts to find identical keycards to go to identical terminals, just to do it again. The side quests are dull. They're inane filler with nothing to add to the overarching plot. There's nothing to gain from doing all of them besides the very basic rewards, and there's no payoff to them. It's filler, pure and simple. It's designed to waste your time.
Instead of well-crafted, interesting, or thought provoking stories, you're handed a checklist of monsters to kill, cats to find, and throwaway NPCs to talk to.

Ryse looked great on an OG console.
Crytek squeezed that underpowered console and showed what the Xbox One was capable of in the hands of competent developers.
Nobody else squeezed it quite as well, I thought, which is a shame.
The pacing can feel off at times as well.
I'm going to go against the grain here; I think Final Fantasy 7 Remake is downright terrible at times, and that's a lot of the time. There are also great moments in the game, but they're pulled down by crappy dialogue, bland and boring areas, dumb, paddy side quests, and tedious, tedious traversal.

Sony cancelled my Digital Deluxe Preorder and refunded my card citing "there is not a know new release date at this time" as the reason. Who cares? I'd rather have kept my preorder and just waited for the eventual release. Then, not even a day later, they turn around with a new release date and put it back on the store. Why the nonsense?
