I thought it was mediocre and I wouldn't consider myself a purist, though I did and still do love the original.
I simply believe that a lot of the design choices could have been better, and the filler aspects were time wasting and didn't serve anything.
The "quests" were dull, time wasting, and lacked meaning. Every boring tired trope like 'drain the water to progress' was included.
The character dialogue was ...
Just got a Pulse headset on Amazon for anyone interested.
Off topic but I know people are looking for these - they're in stock now.
BAM.
It could stay at 1080 for all I care, but I really want 60 fps Bloodborne.
I went to play a little MW after a long, long hiatus. Apparently, there's an XP bug so you can't gain experience points and unlock guns.
Amazing.
This is the sort of game you have a few beers with. I've been enjoying it. Silly fun.
This franchise may stay on the back burner if it's on my stove at all.
I too played it on the Xbox One X and though it was pretty solid, I'd get some wretched hitching when pausing/unpausing and going into and out of menus. The load times also stunk.
PS5 version plays wonderfully for me. Maybe I've gotten dips and maybe I haven't but they certainly weren't discernable. Smooth and very fast loading and I'm really enjoying it.
I've been playing on 60 and switching to graphics from time to time just to c...
"Still a 94 on Metacritic" as if that fact in any way could be negative.
Just... wow.
But whining is all you've done here.
Agreed.
This is one of those games, like Bloodborne, that I return to over and over. I've gotten the platinum and completed GMGOW, but I'll take any excuse to go back.
Ragnorok is my most anticipated game as of now as well.
We're in a video game forum discussing video games. You're attempting, unsuccessfully, to paint me as a person who can't handle life broadly and it's absolutely pathetic.
This is where we discuss these things, and this is the only place I've discussed this subject; I'm not flying across the world renting stadiums to rant about a poor product.
You're attempting to render me as the dramatist when it's really you who's gon...
"What I don’t understand is if the bugs are such a big deal why not just wait to play it?"
You don't understand why people would be upset about being completely and utterly lied to regarding the game's overall quality. You don't understand why someone who was told by developers that the game "runs surprisingly well" on last gen consoles would be upset? You don't understand why people would be upset that a developer wittingly and deliberat...
I'm a little tired of this 'It didn't happen to me and therefore your experience is invalid' attitude around here. People taking umbrage over someone else's bad experience; I just don't understand this type of response.
It's great if people have a relatively flawless experience during their playthrough, but not everyone gets that, and those that do have issues shouldn't be met with anger or hostility by those that don't.
"Good but not great but definitely not a bad game by any means. 7-7.5/10 IMO"
This perfectly sums I'm where I'm at with most of Bloober's games.
That's a good thing and I'm glad you had that experience, Berenwulf.
What am I on about?
I'm on about an issue that occurred while playing MM on my PS5.
Your success testimony is nice, but it doesn't negate my experience.
They both do, apparently.
Also @ Storm: I enjoyed it very much as well, but I've hard crashed about 4 times as well during my playthrough. Want the plat, but I'm not taking a chance on my PS5's health, especially since getting a new one would be impossible and repair times could also be quite lengthy.
I haven't finished MM or even started this one due to the hard crashes that invariably happen every time I play. It's a real shame this isn't sorted out.
I'm waiting for "You're a loser"
