Either reboot it or just plain boot it.

Looks archaic indeed.

People can say what they want about Modern Warfare, and I might even agree, but at least it tried to do something.

Cold War is halfhearted in every aspect - a softball throw's effort.

All they've done is bank on nostalgia; they've rarely deviated from Mario, Link, Metroid, and the rest of their franchises from the 80's.

I get so much tear in Winchester on PS5, but that seems to be the only area for me where it tears constantly, and it only seems to happen at street level.

Really weird and annoying.

I've also had it.

I'm trying to beat all the Orlog players, but one of them is back in Norway and every time I travel there... CRASH. I get locked into a PS5 system (closing game or app) in perpetuity. The ONLY way out is to perform a hard shutdown by holding the power button. I hate doing that.

I've deleted the game and won't continue until I know that this is fixed. If it's never fixed I will never finish it, and I most certainly won...

You really think that they have no other avenues to recoup that money?

-siiiiiggghh-

Valhalla is a chore and Odyssey could be the same, but I did enjoy Odyssey more. That said, the whole game model needs to change to make the games interesting.

They're mostly busywork at this point.

You think they need to allow their games on PlayStation to recoup the billions they spent?

Lol.

1873d ago 18 agree11 disagreeView comment

Because I no longer trust the studio, and I don't think they deserve my money until they finish their work. No other industry I'm aware of gets away with crap like this.

Why should they?

My refund for the game on PS5 came through two days ago. Though the frame rate was fine, I won't be rebuying until this is a game that is not only mechanically repaired, but is leveraging the hardware to its fullest.

I'll play it when it gets the full fat PS5 treatment.

Agreed.

Sony store refunded me today; wasn't sure if it was going to really happen or not.

Thank GOD.

They could, I suppose, but Killzone was Sony's exclusive shooter franchise, and it was a lot of fun. I think Sony should have their own shooter franchise whether it's Killzone or something else.

Sony obviously has a lot of talent they could harness and direct toward a great shooter franchise.

Feels like this is a daily article almost.

Is this supposed to be something to talk about?

Well deserved and a juggernaut of a game. Some of the coolest, most memorable moments, narratively speaking. The skyscraper was intense.

And every media outlet got onboard when the game was shown behind closed doors.

I'll always wonder exactly what the builds the media were shown back then looked like. What the hell did those builds look like? I want to know, because this game is a bland, vacant husk.

I always figured they were being secretive about game play because it was special, and that it was so special that they just didn't want to show much until we had it or until launch ...

I agree.

I hate saying this because I wanted this game to be everything it was hyped up to be, and I wanted to love it, but I barely like it. It's actually quite barren to me and not full of life. It's full of repeat combat and repeat everything. It's an okay game, as in AC Valhalla okay.

Even if things were fixed, this one really let me down. I don't want to hear about "expectations" either after all the promises that were made...

"Consumers feeling entitled to sue over a game that didn't meet their expectations."

You can't be this ignorant of the situation. You just can't be.

CD built up a sterling reputation for quality and customer satisfaction in a way (at a speed) that no one had ever really done and then they completely upended that quality, satisfaction, and trust. Most of this was built by one game, The Witcher 3. Sure, you had the other entries, but they were far less ambitious and popular.

With Bethesda it was a little different; we learned to expect and accept large open worlds that were buggy so long as the games were generally good. ...
