I've been wanting Halo to get gritty for some time now but it's become clear that the developers have other visions for Halo.
It's been colorful and upbeat for so long now. I'd like to see 343 do for Halo what Santa Monica did for God of War if that makes any sense.
My vision would look totally next gen, but it may not be feasible.
Which is why I love it.
I've seen you around here - you're insanely combative over trivial things. I mentioned your history because that first page is a glaring indicator of your attitude and personality.
"You're like a chihuahua taking umbrage" - that's apt, and no you're not being bullied.
Good luck with your reports.
Just look at your comment history; it's filled with little spats over nonsense like percentages and scores.
You're not very good at handling yourself here; you jump right into attack and defense mode if you perceive a slight. You're overly aggressive and sensitive - hence the chihuahua comparison.
From the videos I've seen, this looks like a blast. The locales look cool; the game just looks really fun.
You're like a Chihuahua taking umbrage.
Don't worry buddy it's only a minor criticism.
Thought it was great; gave it an eight.
Swimming in this game is painfully slow.
I do the same.
Looking forward to having this platinum along my 1500 G-score.
Aside from being a mild inconvenience I'm really not seeing the issue here.
The music they chose for this trailer is beautiful.
I was actually thinking the same myself. I loved Death Stranding for exactly what it was - got the platinum. I'm just not too keen on new structures transportation gadgets that give you an easier time.
For me it was all about the journey and Sam's hardship. Such a great, unique gaming experience that was perfect the way it was.
I haven't watched this video or read the review, but I'm not thrilled with some of the additions I saw.
It's a solid game, but it isn't anything remarkable in my opinion. The visuals and effects are all great and the art is great, and the gameplay is fine.
I'd give it an 8 myself and I personally don't understand the 10s. Like others may say, I reserve tens for something truly remarkable overall and I'm not getting that from Kena. This isn't a game I'll platinum out of love or anything.
I agree that Kena plays it very safe as wel...
I'm really enjoying the game, but I get the "unoriginal" criticism. It's really doggone tough to be original these days.
Kena reminds me a lot of Ori; another story about a hero seeking to remove blight from "the land" and restore balance and nature. I'm enjoying the visuals, music, and charm, but it's not original and that's not a "slight" or a "knock" it's just a fair observation.
Played a...
Good job, Ember Labs!
Playing this momentarily.
This particular Call of Duty game is absolute and utter crap.
The game is a buggy shit show (yeah I know it's a beta) where plants jiggle when shot, sparks are bouncing off player bodies, constant flickering is taking place, and the graphics are extremely underwhelming. The spawns are obviously bad as well.
Red Star should serve as an example to developers of how not to make a map. I honestly don't like any of them, but some are intolerable while...
@Flewid
Why not add helicopters then? I mean, it's a fictional setting after all. Why not diversify it with helicopters?
Sure, it's fiction, but within that fiction exists a degree of structure - Norse, European, and Scandinavian structure to be precise. Disagreeing with the type of incompatibility we're seeing doesn't make us racist.
Your boneheaded insistence that fiction is fake therefore nothing matters is patently a...
@locomorales
"let's not be disingenuous and hypocritical here"
"What bothers is the fact that the character has black skin. That's it."
Except that *isn't* it, and you're purposefully misrepresenting and misinterpreting people while also omitting context in order that you may label them racist. That's just slimy and dirty. People like you are not going to simply be allowed to call others "rac...
They're saying that given the positive reception and player feedback thus far, this game is on track to be successful and perhaps put Halo back in player's good graces.
There's absolutely nothing unbelievable about the opinion this person has expressed. Your response is what's off here.
They didn't say "the" leading FPS game; they said "a" leading FPS game. That's quite the distinction you botched there.
