The more I play of HFW, the more bored I become for some reason. All I want to do is play Elden Ring, but I do want to finish this game. I find myself sighing a lot and skipping dialogue. I just want to finish it at this point.
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful game, and it's good from a gameplay perspective, but I'm just bored now. I didn't expect to feel this way, but I'm so bored already. I don't care about these tribes, the people, the mis...
I definitely agree with Aloy being *better* (and knowing it) than all the NPCs. This is a bit silly and annoying and makes the rest of the cast really seem like children. For all these tough, fierce, proud people, in the end, it's the skinny girly-girl, Aloy, always triumphant and always on top, seemingly without breaking a sweat.
I do like this story but I don't necessarily love it. I think Guerrilla have crafted a beautiful, stunning world with enemies that are th...
Awesome.
"Inspired" is truly rare praise these days.
Can't wait.
How hard would it have been to use another word? Why not weather?
The 17 year old me may have agreed; the 40 year old me definitely doesn't. There are plenty of snowflakes and just flakes to go around, but I see the majority of them coming from the left.
Exactly.
Which is fine.
I think the phrase "It's only a game" is fitting here. Lives are more important. Also, I'd say it worked out quite well. This game is awesome.
The voice actors are all so good; I've yet to meet a single halfhearted effort for an NPC. Every NPC model is superbly detailed and voiced; this ain't no Assassin's Creed lol.
This is probably the best looking game I've ever played; the textures and materials are all top notch.
Playing on PS5 resolution mode.
The lighting is also insanely good, as per usual with Guerrilla.
It'll never be in a good state for last gen consoles, but for PS5 and Series X, it's in a good state.
Yeah, the red x's immediately reminded me of terrain scanning in DS as did the moss. But, it is Decima after all. Very cool, and the game is great so far.
Depends on what the maps are filled with; big maps can be great.
Odyssey's map lacked content variation within.
Witcher 3 is an old game that, in theory, should be much easier to do the works on. Cyberpunk is a bit more complicated.
Way too ambitious. This multilayered city with everything going on just seems too much for last gen hardware.
Been playing the PS5 version since yesterday and it's a hell of a lot better than what I played originally, which was Pro code on the PS5.
Since playing the native PS5 app I haven't noticed a single bug and the game looks and plays great.
This update is basically what should have been from the get-go. It's actually quite a good update for these consoles. Runs well and no longer looks like crap.
I'm on PS5.
I cannot wait to play this game.
I'm getting the sense (even more intensely than I was before) that this game is going to be great.
It's not, but fan anger will trump truth here. This is absolutely not a monopoly. People claiming so either don't know what a monopoly is, or they just want to scream "monopoly!"
I'm going with the latter.
Damn indeed.
I'm very much looking forward to any info on this game now.
This is a problem with mounts, period. They simply stop if they brush up against anything bigger than ridge wood. So, so annoying.
The slow, dangly nature of handhold traversal is driving me nuts too. I'm like AAAHHHHH JUST CLIMB!
