even world at war uses the iw engine, difference is treyarch actually makes the effort to improve the engine, while iw stuck with the same vanilla iw engine for several cod's now. with world at war, they added stuff like fire physics and environmental destruction. what's your point really?

it doesn't suck, it just caters to a more specific group of gamers, like those playing games just for fun, instead caters to those who plays patiently and enjoy the story. same goes to rdr, though i didn't enjoy the storyline, feels like a bunch characters (good ones though) just tossed into the world and do their stuff. characters in rdr are some of the best in video games.
i don't consider "die hard: the video game" to be max payne 3.

looks like crysis 2 wasn't really in it's own league now. good thing is has a challenger after being on top for so long. gears of war 3 has a lot to do to measure up, the exclusive status means it has to look better than the multiplatform games, not to mention the graphic engine rivalry between ue3, ce3 and id tech 5.

you got it wrong, the xbox 360 is proven to be THE console for shooters, but ps3 is the way for diversity. thing is cliffy b doesn't really stray from the shooter genre, which is his specialty in the first place. if you said alan wake developers should make games for ps3, then it makes sense, as their games are more than just shooters.
