supply and demand is part of business. pc gamers make their demand, dice fulfills it, pc gamers like it, and there's supply for it.
the gamers community will certainly be divided between 2d and 3d, but i support 3d and i wish it will become an option in video games. i could imagine myself playing me2 with all the gorgeous enviroment in 3d.
he's the guy that worked on bioshock right? i'm not a fan of the bioshock series, but i hope he'll work on the darkness 2, using the bioshock engine, i love that game, i've been waiting for the sequel forever. he just seem like the guy to do so.
i haven't played heavy rain since i don't have any ps3, but if i do one day, i would want to try it out.
as for me2, i think even though bioware cant really do much to add to the storyline, they improved in terms of characters, the squadmates are interesting, that if they die in the suicide mission, they can have an impact on you.
if they wanted to check if the copy is legitimate so badly, why cant they just check once for a week. it's not the best way but definitely more acceptable than checking every second.
it could have been so much better if they have supported pc specific features. if they have supported dx11, imagine the cloth tesselation effects on ezio's robe, and the roof and wall texture looking more 3d.
seriously, nothing changes gaming, because gaming is gaming. you pickup a controller / keyboard/ dildo, stare at the screen, and start playing.
you want boobs, go and bloody watch porn. i prefer romance in me2 than in me1. me1's "romance" is just about you having sex with who you think is most attractive, while in me2, the romance involves you getting with the character that you find most interesting. even though i cant really see tali's face, i chose her simply out of what happened to her (spoilers, so wont state here), it got me closer to her, which led me to ultimately choose her.

is suprisingly fun. i dont understand why the oxm review said it was dull. it's slow, but it's fun. also, when you consider that in me1, you have to take 5 minutes just to climb up a hill with the mako to get to a mineral, this is a lot faster.

the 1st game was fun, but is flawed. all they need to do is fix what's wrong and market the game more. even great devs makes mistakes, especially if it's their 1st time trying something new. uncharted and killzone was flawed, but didn't their devs turn around and fix it, adding to that turned them into successful franchise? even mass effect was a flawed game, and the sequel looks like they fixed the flaws. come on ea, give dice a chance, they're one of your best studios, have faith in them. a...

you people just didn't like it because it's overly used, but overly used =/= lousy engine. it didn't help that a lot of devs didn't bother changing the art style. i'm sure you people realise that me2 actually used ue3 right? and it looks so much better than geow 2 right? then there's also mirror's edge, borderlands and batman aa. it makes sense though to use frosbite for the multiplayer, because apparently the one thing ue3 sucks at is network coding, or so people say, and it's evident throug...
looks like you have the same idea as me. if cameron could pull an avatar with a mass effect movie, it would be brilliant. oh, and there should be more blue people too. maybe even cast sam worthington as shepard.
the intro is brilliant, that's all i can describe. maybe somewhat similar to the intro of star trek (2009) where that big ship attacked the smaller ship.
seem to borrow a bit of plot from chuck from the looks of it. heck, aside from chuck himself, they got 2 of the actors that played sarah and casey to be in me2.

i love the chuck tv series, and love me2 even more!
but it certainly came close, very close to it. from what i observed, me2 has more jaggies, some low-res textures as well as occassional but not severe framerate drop, but if it wasn't for that it would have been neck-to-neck with uc2.
i think ms strategy is to allow popular games to be leaked, just to supply 'poisoned' games without the pirates' knowledge. this way they can detect modded consoles and ban them straight away. isn't this the same strategy used for fm3 and cod mw2? i bet the cerberus network is rigged with this.
at the unemployed drug pusher and child pornographer thing. goes to show how society look down on gaming back then. at least my dad doesn't have anything against videogame, and occasionally shows interest. my mom is fine too, but still believes that videogames are for kids, and nags at me when i play a game with lots of vulgarity. my friends mom actually watched my friend play me2 like it's a movie, she stayed right with him until the ending to watch what happened to shepard.
