my point exactly. the words alone have described the awesomeness of the situation.

yvonne strahovski is amazing, miranda lawson is not. i dont get how the texture designer can screw up her looks so bad. she looks like michael jackson, plus a sex change.

makes sense. i rather they concentrate on anything else other than graphics. there's nothing wrong with using the unreal engine 3 to begin with, since it's still quite good. if they were to transfer to a new engine, it means a lot of things have to be done from scratch, plus bigger budget. i would rather the budget go to hiring great voice actors, and better level designs (not implying batman aa has lousy level design here). just add some upgrade to the current engine, and all will be...

i would rather insomniac give full attention to their new ip. surely guerilla needs some work after killzone 3, so how bout sony hand them the keys to the resistance franchise eh?

whatever that pleases this extremist. i'm a muslim, and i dont give one shit about doing something that obviously doesn't harm anyone. i've pretty much given up on faith (or rather blind following). if it isn't wrong morally, then it is ok, period.

- vice city in the 80s
- clubs
- beach & bitches
- water activities
- hotels for rent (like place for rent in rdr)
- similar tone to tbogt (club scene, music, party, fashion, supercars)
- danny trejo, william fichner (not sure if right spelling) and philip michael thomas
- of coz, drugs, guns and mobs

aitd, yeah maybe, but then i don't think eden games are specialized in games like that anyway. seems like atari threw the paperwork to them cause they're too stingy to outsource it's development to another studio. but tdu is underrated. it's like car porn, in a game. the way the game was designed and advertised it's like an epic car commercial (i.e. the advert with schumi driving the slr upside down with epic nature background).

@xjatsx

i disagree about the lighting and the last-gen remark. i thought the lighting and weather effects are great, but the rest of the graphics are average, with very visible aliasing, low-res textures and cartoony character models, plus where are the civilian vehicles? but i suppose when the sandbox is one of the biggest in gaming, i can forgive the graphics.

i agree with you, although somehow it seems like tim schafer was being sarcastic in his apology. i'm sad that brutal legend 2 is a no-go. it was extremely underrated, as well as being very harshly judged by the gaming community. i enjoyed the game, even the rts gameplay as well.

i wonder why developers never lock the framerates to something in the middle, like 45fps. i thought it's a good balance, smooth framerate while less taxing than to run on 60fps.

remedy should reunite with rockstar, they make a perfect combo. come on rockstar, take out your wallet and gobble them up.

besthesda and id are under the same parent company, i'm wondering when will bethesda use id tech 5 in fallout 4 or elder scrolls 5.

yeah, blame it on them. the reason cod got popular first is because of gamers, not those pussy casuals who don't dare to spend money on an unproven franchise. they heard from word of mouth, then it got famous. now that kodick screwed with the gamers, no one is willing to give them another cash cow. blur could have easily been a big racing franchise next to need for speed, but no one gave it the opportunity despite the game being awesome. it's not that gamers don't understand that ...

it did sell faster and more than me2, but i still prefer me2. i always liked sci-fi, but dislike fantasy.

but at least this proves to ea that new ip, one that is hardcore on rpg elements, can sell a lot of copies. perhaps for me3, they should shift the game's focus to rpg again, rather than casualizing the gameplay.

people always wanna bitch about things don't they. i believe it was gta "fans" who asked for a more realistic gta, thinking that gta sa was ridiculous. now rockstar gave them what they want, they suddenly act like rockstar don't listen to them.

on topic, dao was the first of the series, so it's definitely not going to be perfect. if bioware did it with me2, they can with da2. as good as developers are, there will always be an imperfect first time. mark m...

i'm surprised they haven't made a current-gen reboot of road rash. they have a lot of car centric games, but none motorbike games. too bad criterion is busy with nfs and burnout series, and slightly mad studios are likely to work on a sequel to nfs: shift, unless ea pulls another surprise and deliver nfs: underground 3.

i notice lot's of the good games ea makes doesn't get sequels like it should. i think dice should make black 2 with the bf: bc2 engine.

hmm, hd 720p is pretty much done before, full hd 1080p done occasionally. cinema aspect ratio, 21:9? wasn't done before i think, at least in gaming.
