If you read and watch what it is , it supports HDR , that is meaning for 4K TVs which is what it is aimed at , as more and more people have 4K TVs. HDR was introduced at the tail end of last year.

For the past year critics and articles have been about graphics not game play. This is because more people are playing games on 4K TVs and discovering they don't look as good as they should on those TVs

its a new console that is part of the Xbox family. It's not going to be new games where you can't play them on Xbox one , the shops will sell it as one game , and when put in the machine or downloaded it will know what relsoution to use and speed etc .., just like Windows games, you can play them on a basic models but the higher specs you have the better the game looks

Think I made my point about 4k tv and the difference in graphics ... Microsoft aimed there conference at 4K in terms of the slim and next years ... PlayStation will announce ps4k later which is a slimmer model that supports 4K
This was predicted Last year by Netflix owners and Amazon as they stated expected the consoles to refresh to keep up in 4K content
