People can get the machine if they want , it's not about needing a 4K to to buy that machine. The machine will benift some 1080 HD games and allow the use of VR games , and even 3D , that's down to the developers , so if people want to play 4K , you need a 4K tv , just like you need a blu Ray player to play blu Rays ... But if you want the consol for VR only then it's a great consol for you

1) PlayStation have came out and made the statement that PlayStation neo will have more graphical power and people who want a choice in graphics can play with the best graphics on PlayStation ... Exactly the same as ms with Scorpio.

Most 2015 models have the screens to support HDR and a software update can be provided ( depending on model to unlock HDR in TVs ) , 4K TVs are not all the same and it's only this year that they are being brought together as the same technology
2013/14 models don't even support 4K ...

Xbox live is the platform to connect Windows owners who don't want to buy a consol to Xbox one users ... PS3 was the first gaming console to jump on the blu Ray market , Sony was pushing blu Ray ahead of HD format .. Rember the HD dics and the add on for Xbox 360 that failed because blu Ray dics came along and Sony promoted it through PS3
