You're 100% right...MS have kept Xbox 360 owners waiting since 2010 for quality 1st party titles.

Games are a secondary feature for MS with Xbox One...what manufacturer has a complete and ready to demo console, but no games?
It's so abundantly clear MS focused more on the KINECT TV REMOTE STUFF than real time games.
We know more about switching channels and skyping on X1 than we do about the actual hardware specs?
E3 will be the nail in X1's coffin if they flop on the games.

After the Xbox One reveal...Sony doesn't have to do much at all....but, I just know Sony will capitalize on MS' big fail.

Japan hates bulky hardware, and MS are still regarded as uncool in that territory, unlike Apple products which they love. MS' only chance is to completely remove the brand from the cover of the box and license the hardware to Panasonic or JVC with the tagline 'powered by Xbox Live'.

Journalists are reporting mainly 2 positives (if they're positive for the gamer that is) regarding Xbox One.
Kinect 2.0, and that it can read your heart rate, and you no longer require a remote control to switch to TV viewing....Like seriously MS????
