First and foremost...the PS4 official pre-order scheme hasn't even started, just a pocket of individual retailers are taking Pre-orders in limited regions. XB1 started 'official Worldwide' pre-orders several days ago on Champions League Final day and used a Third Party game to do it.

We're on the cusp of a new generation...this is the ideal op for COD to take the FPS crown, but comparing Ghosts to BF4 is like comparing night to day.

Bethesda sullied the relationship with PS gamers by providing shoddy ports and treated PS3 as 'The Other Console'.
IMO Bethesda are more aligned with Xbox, but I would like to see an even playing field with their next gen games.

I am a PS user, and I will say this is an artificial victory. Even Sony would consider the PS3 sales/profit a failure compared to PS2.
However, PS4 will be the return of those golden PS2 days, in terms of gaming anyway :)

Me, myself and most friends on my PSN list will be 'strictly' playing BF4 next gen...and will consider a COD game when Activision starts to innovate, if ever.
With the transition from this gen to next, and the anticipated Watchdogs, GTA V, I really don't see a place for this series.
I know it's silly fun, has it's fans, and it probably sells very well...I just can't get on with it. Maybe it's the really poor physics and the driving sucks!

Here in the UK, Xbox 360 is/was leading PS3 in sales. I believe it's only in the last 12-18 months PS3 has began dominating, and that's because Sony have been more consistent. <...

Remember Sony said they will not make the same high price mistakes as PS3...that was £429 in UK for 60GB model, so it's entirely realistic it will be around the price I suggested.

Agree the XBone controller seems to be an improvement...D-Pad looks better than even Nintendo's. But then its the least we should expect from a next gen console, and DS4 doesn't seem to have radically changed either.
However, in spite of this positive XB1 news, let's not forget there are more pressing issues than how the controller has 'slightly' improved...
MS' non committal and shaky responses to questions suggests their strategy is 'CLOUDY'.
As for promises...I can promise I will be enjoying the hell outta BF4 come Nov on PS4!!!

E3 is under 2 weeks away, and I am sure Sony will want to use any DRM/Used Game announcements as leverage after MS has had their E3 show.
Instead of joining forces with PS fans to rally together in solidarity against this terrible policy, Xbox fan boys 'HOPE' & 'PRAY' Sony adopts XBone DRM policy.
