I am wrecking people in the darkzone, I mean last night alone i went on a 30+ killing spree with my friends. The signature moves really make you feel like a god (especially security). I liked the darkzone a lot more in the beta without signature moves it made the game way more intense and made me feel super vulnerable.
I wouldn't say a gaping hole but I see where they are coming from Polyphony Digital has a habit of taking their sweet time releasing games.
That being said those games they release are still being played for years on end so...gaping hole? Nahhhhh
The digital games have ZERO resell value honestly. I mean think about this. You go to gamestop and get roughly 30% of a games worth if you're lucky. This is insulting to you because gamestop then turns around and sells the game for 80-95% of its retail cost.
You feel ripped off knowing they are profiting an additional 50-60% off the game you just traded in.
Lets look at digital however. It is not physical so they are giving you SOMETHING for a digital (n...
Im 80+ hours into Division and I am bored, I spec'ed my character to do 150k damage and even challenge mode isn't so bad anymore. I hope the April Update is great I need more to do.
I only got bored of Destiny after I collected every exotic gun/armor and max leveled in the game. PvP is still a mess though.
The reason why the game is getting mixed reviews is cause of the type of game it is. Look up Diablo III reviews and you'll see what I mean. Its a very grindy very punishing looter-shooter
The game opens up once you put about 10 hours into it AFTER you hit level 30. It becomes addicting at that point.
Thank you for posting this but even then, people will still disagree with you. I even own an Xbox One and an pretty pissed that I bought it for no reason, as any game I can get on an xbox one, I can play on my PC at this point.
How can he or anyone else be surprised by the reaction of Xbox Fans? I mean Microsoft never announced it was coming to PC until it was basically gold. That means they withheld this information KNOWING that it would impact the sales of consoles, cause its a new IP and its an interesting IP.
That being said this is great for PC gamers, but not for people who assumed that they needed to own an Xbox One simply cause of console exclusives.
They could just stop making stupid decisions.
Let me tell you why I bought a Xbox One
Ryse
Gears of War
Halo
Quantum Break
Dead Rising 3
Now, I have a very expensive PC and was under the assumption that the only reason I needed an Xbox One was to play these exclusives on my Xbox One. If I had known that I could just play the best version of the game on my PC i would have not ...
Completely agree, its a marketing thing clearly. They assumed adding Metroid Prime to the title would peak interest, and it has, just in a negative way. Honestly, the game doesn't look bad just ...not a Metroid game.
I feel accomplished as I have gotten the Dead Space 2 Platinum trophy.
Yes "Hard to the Core" was the hardest trophy I ever had to earn.
Upgradeable hardware will ultimately divide the xbox gamers. This is to say that if you have the money to afford hardware that makes an FPS game run at 60+ FPS on xbox (insert model of upgradable parts here) and go against the guy who has to play the unstable, less draw distance, less clarity version of a game, you are putting that person at a disadvantage and the idea becomes more of a pay to win model then a "innovation for consoles"
So essentially this would divi...
You know whats sad?
If this game was just called "Federation Force" instead of Metroid Prime Federation Force, it seems like a decent FPS game. Honestly The stigma is simple. You tied an amazing franchise to a game that aside from the crosshair looks nothing like Metroid to me.
F.E.A.R wasn't very scary to me. I mean it had its occasional scares but I am surprised outlast isn't on that list.
I really wouldn't compare Destiny PVP to Divisions PVPVE structure. Its not even the same type of play style lol...
If this is a means of stopping people from pirating their game, then all the more power to them.
Honestly I feel devs deserve to be paid for their efforts.
@Spence09
Maybe you missed the point of what I meant.
These types of games are designed with MP in mind. You wanna solo a DZ go ahead, and I assure you that you will be killed by teamers eventually. Especially if they take wind that you're solo.
I know a lot of people who had fun, but they didn't play alone most of them, and if they did they complained about trying to go solo into DZ (especially closer to the end of the Beta when the...
i still don't see why people who expect to play this game in "SP" mode think they'll have fun.
YOU WON'T I promise, its not meant for SP. Devs even said "it CAN be played in SP, but its designed and preferred to play with friends/others.
I have tried playing Destiny Raids with LFG grouups and 90% of the time its horrible, and time consuming.
I do not want to do that anymore. SO get some friends or make friends with ...
The amount of hate for this game really baffles me. Mainly because hate breeds popularity. Destiny is not catering to a "type" of person and thats the biggest issue with the game.
People who are bad at pvp will complain about pvp. People who have lives that involve more than gaming, will complain about the grinding. People who don't have friends to play the game with will complain about the lack of matchmaking for raids and overall difficulty of the game.
You may want to play Dark Souls 2 as DS3 will play more like that than Bloodborne (kind of an inbetween) if you've played the network test you'd see that Bloodborne and DS3 are infact different games in terms of gameplay/bossfights/dodging/pa rry etc.
And DS2 is a great game on PS4 with all the DLC :D
I 100% agree digital games should cost less than a physical version of the game. That being said they aren't getting anything back from taking the game from you digitally. Its almost like they want you to "trade your digital games in for money toward a new IP or game coming out " (Gears 4 etc). It doesn't give them money back for giving you money for a digital copy of a game.
I would gladly pay 40$ for digital anyday but thats just not the way the console ga...
