While I'd agree about the manual labor part, being someone who doesn't do this for a living and did it for my own personal controller, after watching a 15min video that the eXtremeRate company provided it took me a total of 10-15 minutes tops to install the hardware, no soldering or extra tools required as they provide what you need.
My biggest gripe isn't even the cost of the product, as you look at Scuf, Astro, BattleBeaver etc,...
There isn't any justification! I just purchased the back plate/buttons (comes with everything you need no soldering just a couple screws and ribbon cables swapped out) and it cost me a total of 30$.
They are taking other companies tech and putting their name on it, I am certain it's illegal and they'll end up taking this off Amazon as soon as the company they are doing this to takes notice.
Even if you added up all the "features the contr...
If you really need back buttons and aren't afraid to remove 4 screws and a couple cables you can buy that exact back plate on amazon for like 30$ lol. I'm not even sure what they are doing is legal. If you're curious I believe the part is called "eXtremeRate Black Programable Rise Remap Kit for PS5 Controller"
This is criminal, they are taking already existing components that cost roughly 60$ in total to purchase, putting them on a 70$ controller and charging 289$ for it. Jesus, you can find those EXACT back buttons on amazon for 30-40$.
I think fanboys in general are cringeworthy, lets be honest, people side with a piece of plastic tech like its their Idols.
However, The thing that gets me about Phil Spencer and his statements are pretty Cringeworthy as well.
Example.
“Sorry, I am a bit soapboxy with this one. Gaming is about entertainment and community and diversion and learning new stories and new perspectives, and I find it completely counter to what gaming is abou...
I want Microsoft to give me a reason to buy an Xbox again, I bought a Xbox One X and never used it because I could play those games on my PC that, was much more powerful (1080ti at the time). I like my consoles for convenience over PC sometimes. Competition is good for this industry and I feel like if Microsoft fails Sony may grow complacent again (PS3 launch).
IF you own the non PSplus version of FF7 Remake, you get the ps5 version free, you don't get the DLC free how ever. Simple. No shafting.
Not true, I think what Sony is doing from a business side is smart. Releasing older PS4 titles on PC, not only gives them revenue on the product, but also might get PC players to consider buying a PlayStation to play the sequels. If they were releasing new exclusives on PC, then yes it would be a problem.
Just curious on your take of Xbox then? I mean you wanna talk about "play it too safe"? Yeah, Just curious..
I feel this! Literally the moment they announced the PS5, I put savings away for 2 of them (one for me, and one for my fiancé). I watched the presser when they announced the pre-order date, and immediately sat at my PC on multiple websites trying to get the consoles. I was successful but it took me about 4 hours total of trying. I feel like people who really want the system will put in the effort to try and get them. My friend also got his PS5 a few months ago, by luck he saw the stock a...
I love this game, and I'll admit I am not fond of rouge like/lite games. Just not usually my cup of tea, it took me a while to figure out what I was doing "wrong" in terms of playing and once i got over that hurdle I finished the game in about 9 hours. Well the first playthrough, The story is what kept me going, I died like 70 times in 3 playthroughs, some of those were intentional however, If you just take your time in each biome, and get certain items you should be able to bea...
There are many ways to incorporate difficulty aside from a blanket buff on enemies. For example, instead of higher health, they can do more damage and also have more enemies. I just feel like the matchmaking in this game is so far from "current" with no option to set a Challenge Tier before joining, and how many times I've joined an expedition only to be loaded into someone farming out hunts or bounties. I really like the end game I just wish they made the system more fun with p...
I agree with a lot of points in this review, I wish they touched on a very important one that, if you ask me breaks the game. In Co-op the enemies scale to 100% extra health and damage when others join. For example I can clear a T13 expedition solo but if I let people join my game, all the sudden i am shooting marshmallows at basic enemies. While this may not be an issue if you're playing with friends because you can know their builds. I've had plenty of times where my damage was over...
Yeah, I 100% the game Dear,
Source, lol? Source? Go on reddit, or twitter. Unless you don't know how to use the internet. That would be the only way you couldn't know about these issues. Heres the link to the reddit.

Also, Let me ask you this. As a game review site, don't you want to be taken somewhat seriously? I mean I know reviews are completely subjective to the players experience, but as a video game site, wouldn't you want to INFORM the public about the horrible issues this game is plagued with? If you were to lose 60+ hours on a character and be fine with it thats fine, but to basically score a broken game an 4/5 or 8/10 is like saying the game is near perfect. When in fact it is not. Hones...
Did you happen to check forms and twitter, its literally all over the place...but okay..
So a game that had a horrible launch, a patch that NERFS builds week 1, and now with the patch even more people losing all their inventory is an 8? Honestly? People are still crashing non stop, can't sign in, and the only information PCF have regarding the inventory situation is that they are WORKING on something, and the gear you get isn't even going to be the gear you had in the first place. But yeah, an 8/10.
2021 is hitting different
Hmm, Considering this person seems to have only done the campaign and didn't dive into the post stuff, I'll say this. Yes Bungie vaulted a ton of old content that no one was playing anymore. Yes Bungie sunset a lot of weapons that were so meta it basically made the game hold no challenge. The raid, the post campaign (to get all the stasis upgrades) and the addition of empire hunts, along with exo challenges gives you NEW things to do for the week. Forsaken was left as well as Shadowke...
The Game is not 16.5GB its 44.20GB, I can confirm this by checking the install size of the game on my PS5.
I love how other games can get away with "reskins" or "not changing it up enough" yet this happens year after year with FPS games and sports games. I agree that when it comes to Far Cry, you kinda already know what you're getting when you play it.
