That article is a year old. The problem with it was that Kojima didn't even have an engine or funding for the game. Now he has both funding and an engine (the Decima Engine) which is Guerrillas own in house engine for games like Killzone and Horizon.
With that being said I think it kind of seals the deal in terms of it being ported to PC or not. Don't count on it since the engine they are using is first party for Sony.
This irritates me as I finished the game already. Left me with so many questions. At least they'll be answered in the form of content. Honestly though had I known this before finishing it I probably would've waited to beat it. There is no new game plus currently. Only that you save the game right before the final boss fight, which lets you travel back in time to do/finish side quest and what not.
This is a great game, and I expected Remedy to continue on with it. Great concept and great design. I don't know if we'll ever see a proper Alan Wake 2, but if Quantum Break is anything to go by, we probably won't.
American Nightmare was fun as well but it wasn't nearly as gripping as Alan Wake was.
This is pulled from a Polygon article about Alan Wake 2.
"They have been really supportive about Alan Wake and [now h...
Just curious if you have ever had a dog and thrown them a stick or food? Sometimes they catch it sometimes they don't, sometimes they look at you like you're dumb. Animals man. They do animal things.
How is the game not functional? Because the right stick controls just the camera and NOT your characters movement? Both Ico and Shadow play the same way, developers choice. It doesn't break the game at all and it doesn't take long to get adjusted to it...but to each their own :D
The controls for this game are in fact a design choice, if you have played ICO or Shadow you would know this. Trico is not smart and is not intended to be, you have to lure it into most puzzles, and other times Trico will actually solve the puzzle before you do (which was awesome sometimes).
Is the game frustrating? Yes
Was it meant to be? Yes
The reason the game is meant to be frustrating is that, you are on a journey with this creature and have...
I wanted to stay away from the bait but I couldn't. I had to see for myself what this reviewer had to say about the game
http://prntscr.com/dgkwi3
I get it, reviews are subjective and each person may have a different experience, but when that same person uses the same pros as cons....I mean how is that even creditable. The cons list is a joke and the only thing I can honestly say is correct at all is ...
I took a screenshot of the game with 1.08 patch and heres what i have

I don't know about anyone else. But the one blurry screenshot I have seen looks like the guy took it while he was moving the camera

Here are my concerns for both the Pro and the Scorpio.
Both systems want to "unify" the community per each side (meaning you can play ps4 players in PVP even if you have a Pro, and Xbox One with Scorpio). But to make the community "fair and blah blah blah" they have to be running similar/same Frames Per Second on EACH system. My concern (as a pro owner and i will have a scorpio) is that both the Pro and Scorpio will never be able to hit their "pote...
It would be foolish to believe that any new device would be flawless. There will be failure rates as there are for everything else that exist.
I fear that the hype for this game after so many years will lead it to a Duke Nukem Forever type situation. I honestly don't think this game or any game could EVER live up to the hype people have for it. Its why being hyped for anything is nonsensical. Just remain neutral and you'll end up enjoying it more I promise.
I'd rather have 2-4 hour "Short" games for 20-30$ vs having a full 10+ hour game for $60 for VR. I have a PS VR and the most I use it at a time is like 1.5 hours and thats pushing it. Anymore than that My arms feel weird IRL. Literally my depth perception gets all distorted..its kinda cool but also kinda scary.
im excited to see what MS does with Scorpio just as I am excited to see what the Pro does for PS4. If you are a gamer this is just what we need.. Variety. I like options and the fact that you can play any ps4 games on both the Pro and non-pro models is awesome. I am sure the same will go for Xbox One and Scorpio (or so I hope). I don't think the console would be $399. I assume it will be between 400-549.99. The tech inside is far too powerful to assume it to be any less without a loss. Wh...
You can get a decent 500gb SSD for around 115$ and an external enclosure for like 5$. IT will save you 80$ to do it this way. I suppose if you have zero ability to follow 3 basic instructions and screw in 4 tiny screws than this is the way to go..Branding is funny
I Wouldn't call the "Pro" a minor upgrade. Its more than 2x as powerful as PS4. People don't really understand that part though. Sony did a bad job at revealing anything about it especially VIA live stream. 1.83TFLOPS to 4.2TFLOPS is a significant jump. That being said, I agree the NX is something entirely different and should be treated as such and not compared to Pro or Scorpio.
LOL no, its not 18.67 GB The vanilla install is actually that size. The Entire game to this point is 50.98GB in total. The Disc only includes Vanilla you gotta download all the rest.
I like the new look, it reminds me a lot of the original playstation 2 and the playstation 3 slim. I dunno it looks way better in person the photos don't really do it justice.
Honestly I feel this was the perfect time basically mid way through the generation for PS4. Its a refresh with enhanced graphics and resolution. It isn't meant to be the next big system and its priced fairly well for what it has to offer. I am excited for it. If this system cost more than 400 I probably wouldn't be as interested.
I really want to buy one because it looks really nice. The downside however is I already have the 1tb Version and I hardly ever play it honestly. Most games I play are Multi-platform and if its not I can get it on PC :/. Hmmm
With HDMI 1.4 it will only support 4k@30hz. I mean honestly if you don't have a TV that supports that it seems that you should probably have looked into that kind of stuff before investing in a PS4 Pro. I don't see this as a fault of Sony, and I doubt there will be a real way to fix this aside from buying a TV or Monitor with HDMI 2.0 or better.
