What type of TV are you using? The 3D audio is designed to take advantage of Sony's Bravia XR chip only found in their Master Series Devices.
Another awesome device to use with 3D audio is Sony's NS7 Neckband. It creates 3D spacial sound around your head and it sounds out of this world. Love taking it off and putting it back on just to hear the difference. They're only $199 now, but a great addition to your audio options.
Next is Sony's A9 surround sound system, nothing like it. There are a lot of great toys to play with out hear.

Death Stranding is a very nice addition to his resume. Just because he did something different doesn't take anything away from his legacy. Why is it that people act like any hiccup makes a game unplayable? You know what has the highest resolution, best FPS, and photo realistic graphics? Life....when you're performing in it you'll have little concern of what's going on in a virtual representation. Lighten up fellas it's just a game.

After playing both Metroid and Ratchet, I'd say that Ratchet did a more convincing job of introducing the next level of gaming. Metroid was decent but it didn't do a good job at showing what we waited so long to see.
Ratchets world's were so breathtaking you wanted to see the next one and wanted the game to be longer. Though the formula was pretty much the same it was its presentation that made it stand out.
