I mean, have you ever played a NFS? Now take that formula and add a rewind button with shiny graphics....Forza. The formula's been overcooked for far too long to stand out as anything more than the best Forza game.
Higher budget is the only thing that separates it, huh? Sound like the average hipster to me.
Ted: "I'm not giving it its due credit because it's too well received by the community. Here, let me name some lesser known games to show just how more hard-core I am." Sounds about right to me.
Perhaps your perception of special is too abstract/obscure to be relatable.
All the games you named just ALL happen to be included i...
Die and repeat if you're not good at it.🤣 Returnal was a return to form of challenging game play over health regeneration and respawns. Get good and dare to be great.
🤣🤣
Who cares about price, either buy it or move on. Voicing your discontent won't make it any cheaper for you....smh
That's cool, it's not like we haven't had to play as whites or Asians for decades. I guess us blacks can never been seen as the heroes of anything, huh? Damn primates we are, huh? Bet you're not as forthcoming in the presence of blacks, are you? Do we terrify you? Got all the girls attention? Got a position over you perhaps? Not sure what playing one in a fantasy world aims to take from your real life prowess, but hey, that's your battle to contend with.😁
After putting more time into it, it managed to do the same thing BoTW did. Create a world with mechanics others games in its genre does better. Open world FPS is ruled by Far Cry and no other game has been able to capture the open world options it offers. To be fair though, what more can be done? The approaches have all been explored by Far Cry, Crysis, Fallout, Borderlands, Outer Worlds, etc. It is good enough as a Halo game, it's just not blazing any new trails. The formula is like that...
People played it, that's all any game deserves. What more is there?
The massive build-up to its release and I was expecting something more than what we got. The graphics are better than other Halos but fail to compete with other games in its genre. The storyline seems as though Master Chief and Marcus Phoenix had a play date to write it. Overall, I'll definetly finish it but it is not the standout title for Xbox that I was hoping for. Almost like it is trying too hard to fit in instead of doing its own thing.
I do appreciate the run bu...
When did you end your employment there? Pretty sure it still is a great addition to your resume.
If Dave is a hack for achieving his goals what does that make you critiquing him in a comment section? It kills me that you guys go off of what you hear while experiencing nothing. What first hand account do you have to add validity to your claims?
Too many salty gamers looking for the best while paying minimal cost. It is worth a try and possibly more. Don't allow a community of people who think they deserve more from a $5 dollar a month service decide for you. I swear they'd have nothing good in their libraries if they were asked to purchase a game.
Remember they're always willing to give their 2 cents because it's affordable.🤷🏾
Don't have 3080, yet, but it's on my X on an A90J. Just doesn't have the pop that others games do. Was hoping it made the greater features of my TV stand out but it just managed to show how many blemishes are present in the game.
I am going to finish it though, as it will be the only other Halo I've completed outside of CE.
I mean, it looks okay, but I don't believe it's a next gen game either. I'd like to see one developed for the Series X only.
What's considered spam?🤔
The game used the voices as a substitute for a proper map mechanic, nothing more. Storyline was forgettable and left nothing in the realm of wonderment, for me. It was far from a bad game, just not one that I'd care for a sequel from. This has been the case with many of Ninja Theory's offerings, outside of Heavenly Sword.
To outperform GoW this game would have to have elements that exceed its atmosphere, storyline, character development, and sheer impact potential.
The first game was only okay, and I was actually excited for it. Graphically, I've learned to wait until it is actually released to judge. God of War is a staple for graphical fidelity but there are far more elements that make it great over how pretty it is. Way too soon to tell for Hellblade 2. Pretty tech demo though.
Love everything about the 1st one but her whiny little brother. He was definetly most annoying element of the game.
Exactly, great game.
@Magog
Low point? I guess your OPINION is absolute, huh? Lonely much? Marvel was built from the bottom up so what have you built as an example of your mastery of storytelling? What do we have to measure your prowess?
Resident Evil, Dread, and Infinite all managed to be slightly better than their previous outings but didn't improve enough to be impactful. They all sold well though, so....
