Sony doesn't budge on their standards of play, so they're going to lose out. Much like a person who is steadfast in their principles, not having much popularity.

Nintendo goes for what's simple, and there's a larger market for that. Much like fast food revenues outpace fine dining. Toyota over Porsche. Apple over Samsung.

While the Switch sells more, for now, what's the MOST sought after electronic in the World? PS5....so give it tim...

How does that even make sense? We weren't worried about FPS until it became a thing. There have been gorgeous games from every generation, and they all didn't move at 30 FPS. Just say anything, huh?

Sony is a multi-billion dollar company for a reason. We comment as though we know better when most don't even earn over 30k annually. Make it make sense.

How many successful systems have to rely on BC anymore? Just remember that the Switch should also be included in this narrative.

I mean, of course, Xbox is going to say yes. What would they have if they didn't?

GP only seems to be appealing to cheap gamers; I've not heard anyone that's not broke or a spendthrift advocate for GP.

I can see the toxic influence it is creating in the community. If the buyers aren't required to buy then the industry suffers. Sega TV was a thing, too....

What value is there outside of your own pocket?

So what? Purchasing games has not been a problem on the Sony side of things, clearly. Let the service driven community have it and all the limits that come along with it.

How are you so sure? Have you been there to witness it yourself? Perhaps experienced wealth on that level....

I guess every exec fits your model, huh? Last I checked, you also have the option to not buy a thing. It can't be predatory when an option not to partake is present.🤷🏾‍♂️

Man....it's questions like this that make you wonder what the person asking does for a living? I'm sure if they're not good enough, the author will be releasing a better alternative.

You think? Who would ever work to gather more resources? Crazy concept, I know.

If they do, you do have the OPTION not to pay it. Simple

Or perhaps Sony cares enough about their install base. Since they did purchase the game so that there is a sequel. How hard is it to get a PS5 right now?

There's a difference between doing it to be fair and doing it because you HAVE to. MS is the latter....

There is nothing wrong with maximizing on a healthy install base of over 115 million. How many potential purchasers would be left on the floor....100 million. These comments....

OR....have you thought that no AAA developer is willing to lose earning potential for GP. Have you not realized it yet? Big developers are only willing to put B or A list titles on GP. Why? Because they're confident enough in their AAA games that they're not willing to take an upfront pay cut.

When you see a Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, or GTA level game released on launch, then there's proof it's working. When you stop seeing MS CONSTANTLY discounting the ...

So yeah....why release a new system?🤣

Exactly, gaming on a budget defeats the purpose, really. Companies need money to make QUALITY games. Spending goes hand in hand with all healthy industries.

All this budget gaming going on and the community wonders why there's so many remaster, micro transactions, season passes, etc. These companies have to make up for what the current community isn't willing to spend. They're all hoping to get the most out of every game, though most demonize them for trying.

Did you really just repost this? It didn't have any impact the 1st time; why would it a 2nd?

Honestly, though, GP is full of last gen games. How is it any different than BC? Who wants a new system that highlights the old ones? No one says, "Man I can't wait for that new system so I can play all my old stuff!!"

XB has a whole community that bashes anything newly released on PS just to talk about it not having BC. Strange. Would you guys be unhappy then if XB focused on New releases and done away with BC and GP?

Cool list, bro, but at the end of the day XB delivered another Halo and Forza. The only game missing from their normal cycle of 3 was Gears. Hold all the accolades until something different is delivered. Sad when you're so used to losing that you have to over exaggerate any small step towards winning. XB delivered 2 games, nothing new but more promises. Let's wait and see....
