GP is Sega TV all over again....which was when Sega was on their last leg as well. Give access without actually purchasing it, yeah that's a great business model. It'd be more convincing if 3rd parties were actually putting their AAA IPs on the service but we all know that's not the case.
Far Cry, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Resident Evil 8, NBA 2K, Madden, etc were NOT offered on GP though B, A, AA titles have been. Why? As the latter don't have big marketi...
I mean, when you actually pay attention you'll realize that GP is MS's desperate push to keep people on their console buy paying the cost for them.
These well established companies aren't putting their AAA titles on the service for a reason. This is because they know better and make far more profit by selling their games on a platform with a healthy ecosystem.
Pay attention to what they said with Forza 6 million people playing it on GP not b...
GP is a cancer to the Xbox ecosystem and they fail to realize it because how convenient the pricing is for them. What successful company has to pay a dev to get their IP on their service? If that's not telling enough add the fact that absolutely NO AAA titles from 3rd parties are being added. MS is desperately killing themselves with GP the same as Sega did with Sega TV. The parallels are hard to ignore.
I platinumed this game, but the second half of the story left a lot to be desired. I hate emotionally charged games, very unnecessary.
The writing and the humor are second to none. I mean, Hades and Torment are great but not to the level of Elysium.
Why would they have too, they're crushing it in hardware and software sales? If you have an actual PAYING community of supporters, why would you have to give your games away for free?
🤣3 million vs 20 million subscribers ACTUALLY shows EXACTLY why Sony is superior to MS. 3 million subs of 130 million owners vs 20 million subs of 58 million owners. It speaks volumes, of MS, that almost 40% of their user base supports their $15 service while your software and hardware sales struggle year over year. While, with Sony, just a little over 2% of its user base subscribes and they're the market leader in almost every category. Very telling indeed, but who cares about th...
@Orbilator
Exactly, I work and invest in what I want. Having so may spendthrifts in a community makes for a very toxic environment. All the entitlement and expectation for little investment is annoying to encounter, like these companies don't deserve the price for providing our outlet.
Though I am sure that every one expecting more for less would also expect their full asking price if they were selling something. The hypocrisy is deafening and leaves...
Better is subjective, Playstation Now "struggles" because people ACTUALLY purchase their games on Playstation. This fact make paying for Now redundant because you own a lot of the title already.
MS pays in your place of NOT spending. While this formula looks to benefit gamers, it only shows just how selfish they truly are. Imagine if every subscriber to GP actually paid what the devs were asking instead of ONLY $15, how much the devs would benefit.

This may be a surprise but some of us play games with no need of including others. Some have friends in real life and actually do more than play games together. Campaign player here.🤷🏾♂️
Yeah, it's stable and satisfying enough to hold you over. Really nice how they updated the graphic engine.
I don't see why we bother inserting ourselves in person matter anyway. What they do outside of making games has NOTHING to do with us.
Uuum, does not Sony hold a very LARGE share of the gaming market? Being largely favored is an apparent element of being the popular choice. It will be like this on any platform that isn't dedicated to your platform of choice. People defend what they favor....where have you been?🤔
You guys are aware that there'd be no Xbox without Sega, right? This deal was only a matter of time really. The Dreamcast team literally migrated to MS, hence the long standing feed with Sony. They've been wanting to get back at Sony since the PS2 put the nail in the coffin of Dreamcast. Makes sense to me....🤷🏾♂️
You are aware that they are making more with the current formula, right? Allow their games to run their course on the Playstation platforms, then offer them on others. Makes sense, as those other platforms are paying full price to have them. Nintendo does the same thing, just with their own platforms.
Isn't that subjective though? Now imagine yourself as a Dung Beetle and that the filling of said donut holds the essential source to your survival....would you still deny its offering?🤔
Take a lap, slugger, your narrative contribution has done a great service to the progression of mankind. You should feel proud.😁
When we're in a society that wants more for less we'll continue to see it.
You know you can just purchase what's not given for free too, right?
Well thank you for your contribution Mr. Venom, I'm sure that no one is not going to play these games because of what happened to you. Fitting name though.😁
You guys are consumers, so you'll only measure what's convenient to your own pockets. I am a business consultant so I'm privy to information that goes beyond "GP has such great value".🤣🤣
If you want the information how about you earn the access like those of us who put ourselves in positions to actually be functional in the industry.
