Gran Turismo is a showcase game so the manufacturers don't want to see their cars damaged. To add to this, GT penalizes you online for colliding with other cars. The perfection of driving is the goal, so why implement damage if you don't aim to make a mistake?
Horizon looks awesome like a Scat Pack Charger SRT does until a 918 Spyder pulls up right beside it. Horizon cars and tracks have pop but lack in the detailed department. The cars have a plastic toy look to them. I still like it, but it's no Gran Turismo.
INFERNUS,
Can we assume you've never dated a beautiful woman? As with her, no matter how much mackup she puts on, it doesn't enhance who she is at her core. I say that to say this, whether Ray Traced, DLSS, or ultra highres texture, we'll still be playing GT7. I'm sure no one can play the graphics, textures, or otherwise. We play it because of the level of accuracy it brings to the driving genre. Can a PC enhance that? Can the PC make it more than a racing g...
@King_Noctis
You know because you work in their operation department, huh?
You see, MS HAD to spend 80 billion hastily, for two reasons:
1. They had to do something to keep up due to their LACK of investing in their brand throughout the years.
2. They already knew about this deal as well as the next one, so they needed something bigger to counter it.
You guys talk as though acquisitions happen overnight; these things take time. MS couldn't have Sony releasing better offerings and acquiring pivotal studios, now cou...
That's the point: Take Two assumes the upfront cost or used money's gain from acquisition to purchase Zynga. Just watch as it all unfolds. MS grand gesture was a dead giveaway to anyone paying attention. They NEEDED something bigger than this. Why all the media bombardment? To stagger the impact.
I'm a business consultant who deals in acquitions and mergers; this deal has been in the making as soon as they left Activision. Take Two is next; that's why GTA 5 next gen update has gone silent. We'll hear about it when they announce GTA 6 on PS5.
You're correct. How long ago did Bungie leave Activision? This is also assuming Sony's finished acquiring. With MS history, they're known to play follow the leader, albeit while screaming how much greater they are. They already knew about this and the other company they've yet to announce. Stay tuned.
I would imagine the company producing billions yearly knows better.
This deal has been in the making, and MS knew it. Their purchases were a counter in hopes of staggering the impact. Take Two is next.
Take all those games at Zenimax and put them all against the ongoing success of Destiny. Furthermore, MS already knew about this deal as soon as Bungie left Activision. I'm willing to wager that this move, along with Sony's inevitable purchase of Take Two, sparked their large acquitions. If I could see the pieces moving, there's no way MS didn't know. I'm just saying.
Called it, as soon as they left Activision. Take Two is next. MS already knew this long before their acquisitions happened. Know this is actually what sparked it.
Even after stating that, it doesn't make his comment any less true. Halo is designed to be played longer, while Horizon is designed to impact you longer. Shooting avatars repeatedly is a common formula now. How many games are breathing new life into old hardware like Horizon is? It is a marvel, to be sure.
No problem.
Looking at Hellblade 2, I see several visual tricks used to place more focus on the character models. For instance, pay attention to how the spears don't have a realistic response to hitting the giant. The fire has no lasting effect once gameplay actually started. It was a running segment included in a cutscene. It's really giving me that Crackdown 3, Watchdogs energy.
Furthermore, for what Hellblade is, I'd hope it'd be able to increase its graphical fidel...
It's crazy because there's not even a game on the SX that can match this. Sony is a marvel.
You guys are aware we also get tickets to the movie as well....
Sony upgrades include controller integration and optimization as well, which costs development time. MS doesn't have next gen controllers or cutting-edge compression tech. Give the devs the meager $10 for their efforts. Tired of all the winning about not getting something for free when none of you work for free yourselves.
It's $10 dollars, bro. Calm down. You don't have to buy anything.
