They're just mad that they can no longer exploit the system to attain what they didn't earn. Same in the real world; there's a reason a Buggati is price in the millions as it is not intended for average drivers.
Games great when don't expect them to give you everything you want if it doesn't suit their goals. I love the game and can't, for the life of me, see what all this fuss is about. Microtransactions, credits, etc are all theirs to determine how they are handled. Constantly whining about what you don't like doesn't get you results. We are adult enough to understand tantrums are often exercised by children. Game's great.🤷🏾♂️

Hype is generally never good as it's not a sustainable experience. Who stays hype? There's a reason we refer to drug addicts as hypes; they have to be constantly stimulated to experience simulated instances of joy.
To some, to some not. That is not absolute antidote. $10 my affect you, but it's negligible to someone else. I am of the latter because if I'm questioning $10, that means that I can't afford it and shouldn't be spending on luxuries.

Dude no one is crapping on the heralded Elden Ring anymore than any other game with flaws. We ALL have them and not one example of perfection can be seen in any game. Get out of the newlywed stage and you'll be able to see past your rose colored glasses. I bought Elden, Sifu, GT7, Ghost Wire, Dying Light 2, Stranger of Paradise, Horizon FW, Destiny, Tiny Tina, etc with a realistic understanding that they all will have things about them that I might not care for.

I mean, you've voiced your discontent and whined, now what? My opinion was voiced followed by a clear admittance that in spite of any negatives the game has, in my book, it's still worth playing. Nioh's graphics were dated and its story was horrible though no souls type can match its seamless combat....
So much anger for it to just be a game, it would seem. Sorry that getting the more expensive stuff is no longer easy for you. You're free to attempt it is the real world to compare which is easier.😁
