Got away with murder? A bit extreme there, slugger. GT7 did absolutely nothing wrong outside of implementing something "consumers" didn't like. Who cares? Any successful company has to know when to tell the people to f*** off when it's for the betterment of their sustainability.

They gave the crybabies 1 million credits and still only adjusted the earnings in later races. Intelligent solution, here's some money and get good enough to earn better rewar...

You have an excuse for everything MS does or doesn't do. You're the equivalent of the little fat kid that only likes the blue M&Ms claiming that they taste better because blue is his/her favorite color. You can't seem to help yourself when it comes to showing your blind delusion with anything outside of Sony. I get that we all have our preferences but there's no reason to turn a blind eye to promises unforfilled. Wasn't it you commenting on GT...

Given that intrigue is a subjective topic, that would depend on the person. Case in point neither Starfield or Redfall intrigue me. Though, GoW:R, Forspoken, Ghostwire, Horizon:FW, Sifu, GT7, etc. I'm buying them all and this is just what we know of but I guess two "intriguing" games a year is cool. I'll definitely be getting GP to try them both when they release. Only to illustrate the error in MS service philosophy.

Uuum, what do we even know about Stanfield or Redfall? Nothing but what they're claiming. Sony is generally the most quiet of the 3 so we don't know and I'm good with that. They've been consistent with releases since launch. I too played all those games on my Pro and PS5, what's your point? You've got Halo that isn't available on PS but it can be argued that Destiny is the better game. I've got a SX just in case they get something interesting much like my Switc...

All this day 1 stuff. Name one day one release on GP that matches the quality of Sony's offerings?

1536d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

The best way to get day 1 releases is to buy them. People waiting to get things for free are the problem not the solution.

With all that said Sony has more supporters and standout qualities, products, experiences.

Metacritc is subjective. Publisher of the year means nothing when you had to buy your way into it. Those companies were publishing those games before MS purchased them so....

The best deal is critically acclaimed exclusives, great tech, strong 3rd part support, and now a convenient inclusive service that's an option instead of a life...

What choice did MS have when they've got ABSOLUTELY nothing new to improve on? This argument sounds so desperate. Listen to it again: Well, the XBSX, the most powerful next generation console, improves all the games that came out before it. Wow, that's cool, what new games do they have? Well you can play old ones with a higher framerate. What about new games? You can't even play old games on PS5. Yeah, that's fine because we're busy playing new ones. Well GP. Aren't th...

It's not underwhelming to an individual who knows it an option that adds to Sonys already robust ecosystem. When you buy your titles and just appreciate having an option to conveniently play all your games on one console it's a nice addition. To expect day 1 releases is a slap in the face to individuals who pay full price to make them as great as they are. The numbers show that people don't mind buying games on Playstation. The same can't be said about MS community. Just my tw...

Yeah won't be seen on the XBOX, because even with GP developers are making more money from the sales on PS. Xbox was not #1 either, Sega WAS, Sony was next and Xbox was last. History much? Microsoft will exit the industry as a 3rd party developer, if their community doesn't support more than a service.

I'm really starting to believe that there's something disconnected upstairs. That fine that they have studios they had to purchase out of a desperate need to stay relevant. Deathloop and Ghostwire were being developed exclusively for the PS before the purchase, what's that tell you about where their minds were at? Psychonauts 2 also came to PS4 and outsold the XB, what's that tell you about Sony's community? Furthermore, Psychonauts 2 was coming...

This is not GP, because Sony isn't having to pay developers in place of those not willing to. Sony has the sales numbers, a great catalog, and a community of supporting fans that have help make them #1. GP inception was motivated by being dead last in sales for years. What other reason is there to buy an XB?

Let's make the difference a little clearer for you; without GP what does MS have? Without PS Plus Premium, what does Playstation hav...

Competing with GP would be suicide for PS because their community actually buy games. PS consistently has a great attachment rate with their consoles. Jim Ryan just eluded to the same thing. This new service is more about adding more value over competing. Sony exclusives tend to sale over 10 million copies, hence them allowing 18 months before seeing them on the service. Pretty sound implementation, without disrupting revenue.

Who give a f**k about Metacritic, is a site for reviews that it. 87/90 doesn't matter, there are few crybabies whining about MT, so what. GT7 will not be "dethroned" any time soon, not by Forza, NFS, or anything no matter their Metacritic score. I've got a healthy number of people playing it on my friends list, the same can't be said for Forza or Halo on my XB.

A casual isn't going to even attempt to figure that out. They prefer to plug and play opposed to have to figure out how to play.

As a Souls fan, Elden is very flawed as a game soul game. Demon's Souls, Nioh, Nioh 2, and Sekiro does it better. There's the opened world aspect but that's literally the only thing that stands out about it. After many hours of playing the game grows very tedius. Poor item management, no storyline, no character development, barren world, boring combat, and my lord what's with that random lockon system? If this is the idea of the best or perfect there's no hope for anything...

Truth be told, you don't have to buy a console from Sony either. Perhaps then we'll not have to deal with you in PS threads anymore. Sony is a company who's games are leagues ahead of most games in the industry. To continue that level of excellence one has to continue making the revenue. If you like free so much there's an Xbox community that'd more than appreciate your presence. I can't understand how you spend so much time on a thread that...
