You're right because it was supposed to be 259, fat fingers skinny phone, you get it though. It's not that I'm better, just different, dude. I'm not cool with ANYONE else "supporting" for me. Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony. How you take it or what you think about it doesn't matter because I've been doing things this way for the last 30 years. I'm not demonizing you for subscribing, dude, be the best subscriber in the universe if that's your aspiration. ...
Sony & Nintendo do it better because the numbers support that fact across the board, it's irrefutable. It has nothing to do with what I say, think, or otherwise. Is it better for each of you? Probably not, but for the industry it's an astounding yes. I care for the industry and all the arms that exercise sustainable antidotes of longevity. The $70 formula will continue to work, because Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Ferrari still work even though the Toyota Corola exists. Dif...
@porkchop
Let's make it make sense then:
GP has 454 games available as of March 30th. The monthly cost is 14.99. That's a little over .30 a game. $180 a year. Awesome, huh?
I purchased 159 PS games in 2021(download only) which averaged $47 per game. This cost me a little over 12k.
With only 35% of the total library with GP, my support of the industry was 67 times larger than any one subscribers'.
@software730
Just because you're offended doesn't mean that I'm insulting anyone.
Arrogance: having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.
With that, there's nothing arrogant about what I stated. Where are the examples of my importance or abilities being exaggerated? I am assertive/blunt/shrewd/direct, all of which are often mistaken for arrogance by those who don't understand the...
Painting on the wall is an urban term for suicide. We often say, "Go kill yourself". Is it literal, no, but just an illustration of the severity of a situation. "Painting(blood) on the wall?" Asking if MS is killing their gaming division, but thanks for your interpretation because you're familiar with me and where I came from. Good day
Writing eludes to a warning, while painting is the fatal result after taking a bullet to the face. I'm very well aware of what I said. Thank you though.
Painting on the wall?🤔
Exactly, GP is not as satisfying as having the ability to just buy your own games. I tried it, but I want SX games not a large library of games that I've played for the last 9 years. It is a thrifty service that appeals to people who have no aim to support anything over their own pockets. "I'll just wait until it's on GP" is the XB community's new approach to getting games. I canceled it and if their exclusives are good enough, I'll buy them. That's how Sony ...
Not about right or wrong, as you can clearly read what I stated didn't contend against anything that you guys stated. I happened to voice something different and the cult-like mob pounced, as they always do. Perhaps Elden or BotW inspires and includes your take on heroes. Just because I don't share the same sentiment doesn't mean you're wrong, just that I prefer something different. I didn't care for BotW either though, had nothing to do with popularity just wasn't app...
That is the reality that make you more comfortable with the results of your life's contributions. The Porsche and Ferrari were both scenario references, the density level is high in here, it would seem. What you would do "IF" you had it opposed to having it are 2 different things. Gaming made me my wealth and I'll remain in it until I can't anymore. I talk to random people in public so how is this any different? It's not aimed to impress, it's just a true account...
@Mr. Poolie
Sound like, but am I? Perhaps to you, but that's not an absolute assessment, so....dismissed? Complaining? Where? There's no level of discontent nor grievance communicated in my statements. I'm where I'm at, and there's nothing that can be said to deter me from my conclusion. You're projecting, sir.
My quote that you highlighted was a proposed observation/hypothesis not an opinion. I mean, you guys are the individuals w...
I've grinded many hours in life doing what I had to do too, didn't like that either, but I'm now in a place where I'm set for life, with as much time as I'd like doing what I want. I have friends that play the game, and I'm good at it, so all my hours came from playing with them to show them that it's not as hard when you understand the mechanics of the game. You know things like; invincibility frames, animation resets, frame loops, attack patterns, animation trigg...
Guess I have to be a liar and hater coming from an avatar in a comment section. Noted and promptly dismissed. You guys remind of individuals that only find greatness in their games not realizing that there are individuals that have acumen beyond your own. Ever drive a Porcshe or a Ferrari before? If not, then it could almost seem like a fantasy to encounter individuals that have them as daily drivers. You'll tell yourself that "I don't need a Porsche to be happy" though if t...
Much like life, I tend to spend my time training where most don't. Yes, I farm and master each weapon that I enjoy using. The farm is the fun factor for me, hence art imitating life. It's not that I absolutely hate it, it's just that I don't like it anywhere as close as everyone else does. Melania was the only fight I thoroughly enjoyed, where most only complained about her. It's a one and done so I'm going to finish with the highest level that I'm willing to grind...
A whole 150 platinum trophies, what an impressive display of prowess. I bet all the ladies are just lining up for a chance with such a champion. Makes a lot of sense to a person who is an investor in the real world, you give a prospect enough time to properly determine if you truly like it or not. When I don't like it, one's argument could hinge on the notion that I didn't play it enough, well my approach lays that to rest. I'm more than sure with that many platinum trophies y...
Exactly, just a tired formula hyped by so many people just discovering Soul-types. Combat is so basic that you wonder how the hell it's getting away with it. Games like: Nioh, Sekiro, GoW, hell even Strangers of Paradise have blazing fast, progressive combat. Story is all over the place because how dare the game have structure. The open world makes it more of a chore to play than a marvel to behold. I've grinded out to lv 390 but making it to 400 just seems pointless. The boss fights ...
Exactly. Hit it on the head. They're not friends if you need to lead to them, they're customers.
Digital is the convenience that made the Walkman and CD Player obsolete. Instead of needing to trade, just wait for a sale that is convenient for your budget. Friends should be carrying their own weight anyway, no industry is built on leading without a cost attachment.
Hells yeah, N4G comment section sets the bar high, I see.😁
Playing right now, it's an 8.5 for me.
