The article also mentions Quantic Dream's next project, which would also be appropriately revealed at a European event like GamesCom.
August can't come soon enough.
Don't know why anyone would disagree with an objective statement like yours.
It's a fact: JD3 is multiplatform.

"Nomura also apparently hints at a new title announcement"
FOR FUCK'S SAKE STAY FOCUSED ON VERSUS
Wow, very cool. Wish I could be there.
Will you be surprised when your own submission becomes "hotter" and more discussed than that particular ration of flamebait?
Not sure how such an opinion piece could benefit from being published on a Nintendo-centric website.
So who are you writing it for?
Probably not for your regulars. That would achieve nothing but circle-jerkery.
So you're writing it for N4G.
It's not like this topic hasn't been discussed before.
I think you know how most people here feel. PlayStation fans are the lifeblood of this site, and PC fans comprise the largest minor...
Yes, they are.
You wouldn't believe how many people don't "get" The 10-year Plan, despite how it has been proven twice already.
Exactly. Kinect-like controls? My ass. Sony's convinced they've been there already, back in 2003 with EyeToy.
Come on, didn't you at least play MGS4 like the rest of us?
How can someone have ZERO time to at least REDEEM their free stuff? Not 5 minutes available in the 30 days given?
Great discussion! Insightful and well-moderated.
Wow. New low for an N4G submission?
...nah.
What an awful week... hopefully there will be some good PSN games.
Remind me to group NGV with Hiphopgamer.
Not gonna watch the video but yeah ND needs to do something about the melee. It's great in the singleplayer campaign, but in multiplayer it's so basic and stiff unless you sneak up on someone and do a stealth kill.
There's still the problem that occurs when both players decide to try melee, and both are mashing Square as fast as possible to make the character punch twice, which does the kill. But it's unresponsive and boring because of the stiff delay between ...
Typical UE3.
That's a good point. Microsoft and Sony can potentially spend the same amount of marketing dollars in a year, but each of Microsoft's games may get a larger allocation relative to Sony's games because there are less of them.
Didn't make that connection before. Thanks!
Actually the real secret is: marketing.
Microsoft sets aside massive marketing budgets for each of the games the author talked about. Notice how no one mentions Fable? Yeah, thats because it doesn't get the ridiculously pervasive ad campaigns that Halo and Gears do.
Even for Sony's biggest exclusive of this generation (in terms of sales), Gran Turismo 5 just got the usual treatment: a TV commercial, some redecorated websites and a couple billboards. ...
Ya don't say.
