Just because alot of people buy the game doesnt mean boycotting it doesnt make an impact. They still lose the same profit.
Ironically if sony were to chose hardware that was easier to program for then it would mean weaker hardware and ultimately worse looking games. The Cell was the most bang for the buck sony could get. Sure their launch games might have looked a little better but the progression would be weak.

lol, you comparing it to Left4dead2. L4D2 is actually coming out less then a year after the first game. If Killzone 3 comes out fall 2010 then thats almost 2 years after the first game. Not comparable with L4D at all.
Also Guerrilla was working on KZ liberation until late 2006 so dev time on KZ2 was not more then about 3 years. 2.5 years from KZ liberation release to KZ2.

Brink is using some of the same tech as Rage. but i think its a 30fps game and Rage is 60fps which makes it conciderably more impressive
Actually, rage has been shown running on 360 at aprox 60 fps. The entire game is build with consoles in mind. For a 60fps game there isnt much out there that beats it. Wether or not it can compare with Uncharted2 is another case, something i dont have the knowledge required to go into.
Certainly the character models in UC2 is unbeatable by any game out there, and probably any game coming out for quite a while. Dont think any of the games listed can match ND in that area.

You cant expect sales of more then 500k before november. If i remember correctly (which im not sure if i do) then the 360 sold between 300-400k last time they had a pricecut. If thats the case then 500k PS3s is very impressive indeed.
maybe you get dedicated servers, but using a controller instead of a mouse is a hard price to pay for a PC gamer. Especially when it is an FPS. Also i want to pick what games i join, dont want no matchmaking.
If you look at the sales charts you still see games like Killzone 2 and Littlebigplanet hanging up there. Thats proof enough that the games have legs. Oh and only a retard would compare them to games like Halo 3 and COD4. LBP is a new IP, KZ2 is the first great Killzone game. Those of you who paid attention would know that Resistance 3 is being promoted in a movie that will release early 2011, which could mean that Resistance 3 will be a 2011 title. If so, KZ3 could be fall 2010. You never know.
The cell processor does graphics rendering in both Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2, and probably several other PS3 exclusives. So while these games look better then anything on 360 it doesnt tell us how the GPU stacks up to the one in the 360. And yes its true that there are ups and downs with both 360 and PS3 GPUs. generally though developers will say that the 360 GPU has a slight edge.
