david jaffe basically confirmed it was Twisted Metal way back. but he has later been trying to pretend that he never did because he isnt allowed to announce it yet. Also he has been saying pretty clearly that the game he is working on now is of a much larger size then what they did with calling all cars. He has confirmed that it will be a full blu ray release game.
The chance of the game being twisted metal is 99.9% at the very least. id bet my house on it (if i had one).
I was personally disappointed by this trailer. I had hoped that MS had something to show that could rival Sony first party in terms of graphics. I was wrong. Its a long time until its launch so hopefully it will look alot better when its released, but in its current state this isnt even one of the best looking games on 360.

There is a graphical difference between some of the scenes. And the reason behind that is that in some scenes they render huge crowds of people, and that cant be done at the same graphical quality without out it severly hitting the framerate.

because the wii offers nothing for the core gamer. the core gamer market is purely owned by 360 and PS3 atm so naturally thats what core gamers will care about.

There is no way they will show GTA5 at the VGAs. They havent even shown Agent yet, and its the same studio working on Agent that is doing the GTAs. Agent is supposed to come next year. GTA5 is 2011 at the earliest.

Im not convinced that this is as much better then the cell as this article says. The Cell has 15gflops performance at double precision but about 200gflops at single precision. i honestly dont know what double precision means in comparison to single precision (float) and i dont know if these guys do either.
