If developers learn to utilize 6core cpus that also means that they will be better at utilizing 4 core cpus. If anything it might give developers a push to start utilizing more cpu cores which everyone will benefit from
If you look at PS3 exclusive sales vs PS3 sales of multiplatform games, then you'll see that PS3 exclusives does indeed sell very well. Its just that none of the games have been able to pull off Gears of War or Halo numbers. Id say wait for GoW3 and GT5. Thats when your gonna see PS3 exclusives sell really well.
the more they work on DLC the longer you have to wait for the next game. i prefer new game over dlc
Ehh, killzone 2 was released 11 months ago. If KZ3 comes out this november then thats almost 20 months since KZ2. Not saying its gonna happen, but its certainly not "doing a valve"

I dont get the people who even bother mentioning resolution with games like GOW3. Making GOW3 in 1080p would be piss easy for Santa Monica to do. Seriously no problem at all. However they decided to make the game at 720p because then they could make the game look better graphically.

He didnt say it was 10 hours long. He said it was conciderably longer then 7 hours, and when the other dude mentions 10 hours he says that its longer then that. He also clearly mentioned that the game was longer then both of the 2 previous installments. for all we know it might be from 12-14 hours long.
When the PS3 and 360 sell the same in the US then you know the PS3 sells alot more worldwide. PS3 has been more or less consistently beaten by the 360 in the US yet it has sold more consoles worldwide then the 360 each year. Now PS3 is head to head with 360 in the US so worldwide sales should be much stronger then 360.
Resistance 3 will be Q1 2011. As for fall 2010 it will be Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Motorstorm 3 (or new ip from evolution studios) and maybe Syphon filter, but i think that might not be before 2011. Also The Last Guardian will likely be released this fall. Killzone 3 will probably be Sonys big game fall 2011 likely along with Uncharted 3.
People that are complaining are ridiculous. The terran campaign will be 3 times longer then previous campaigns, so even though there is only campaign for 1 race there is still just as much content. And now they are also adding a few protos missions, only a plus.

how can it raise the graphical bar to a whole new level when games like KZ2 and Uncharted 2 look better? Makes no sense. It looks damn good though. Also, anyone else finding it ironic that they say the game already looks better then CG? CG can look bad and CG can look really good. Avatar is almost only CG, does this game look better then Avatar? Well i know it will feature better graphics so thats reason enough to make me want one. Concidering how games look this gen with UC2 and KZ2 it shows that next gen games will actually look like CGI, atleast the better ones.

If sony wanted to rip you off they'd do like nintendo, make some cheap hardware and sell it way above production costs. If the PS4 cost 800$ at launch then that would be one hell of a machine. But sony wont do that, they know they have to launch the console at a somewhat reasonable price.

Uhm, you know this is what developers do all the time right? They almost always start their next project before the other one is finished. It doesnt mean we will see Mass Effect 3 one year later then ME2. It will in all likelyhood be another 2 years before the next one.

Why would he say its one of the first second generation games and refer to the original xbox when almost all previous 360 titles blow original xbox titles out of the water. He is clearly talking about second generation game as in when game developers have already made games on the hardware and learn how to really push it further.

GTA V will most likely be announced just because Take Two will be at E3? What year didnt Take Two come to E3? I know Rockstar has skipped E3 but as far as i know Take Two havent. And We already know Rockstar will show off Agent at E3 so its a given that Take Two will be there anyway. Besides Take Two has several other games like Spec Ops: The line to show off.
