ehh, the warcraft movie is not about world of warcraft. its about the warcraft universe and it will by all likelyhood have much more connection to the Warcraft RTS games (WC3 and frozen throne in particular) then world of warcraft.
uhm, this is certainly not a delay. By the time raimi got onboard it was already clear that the movie would not be released until 2011 at the soonest, possibly later.

are you retarded? his post was right on point. Its because big sites have a higher weight. So for the Halo ODST reviews the big sites gave it on average a higher score then the smaller sites thus the metascore gets rounded up.
Its because the reviews from big sites have more weight then the review from small sites.
Metacritic is not an average of all the reviews for those who didnt know. The bigger sites get the bigger impact on the scores

if it was a 9/10 i might agree with you. But this is a 96/100. If you have a scoring system of a total of 100 you'd preferably never use the 100 because there can always be something better that you would want to score higher.
Complaining about scores like this kinda make you look stupid. Its just very wrong and it shows how spoiled people have become with review scores. Games generally score to high, thats the state of the gaming journalism industry right now
common guys. i can understand people complaining simply because almost every fricking game released these days are overrated. but a 9/10 is supposed to be really really good.
Instead of people whining about a game not getting 10/10 id rather hear some complaining about reviewers generally giving games way to high score so that when a game that truly stands out comes out it wont either have to be a 10/10 or just as bad as every other game.

its quite simple system. 1/6 is terrible. 2/6 is bad, 3/6 is mediocre, 4/6 is good, 5/6 is very good and 6/6 is brilliant.

If you think Forza 3 is going to have over 100 unique tracks then i think your in for a disappointment. most likely when they say track they mean any kind of layout of anyone of their existing tracks. in this regard GT5 could claim they have 70 tracks, although that would be stupid.
Point is i think its way to early to start pointing fingers until Forza 3 is out and you can see how many tracks the game actually has. I certainly dont trust PR from Turn 10.
Must be frustrating for the developer then that 360 really doesnt offer anything the PS3 doesnt. If it was PS3 exclusive they could at the very least utilize the harddrive and the bluray. I wonder what kind of magical device inside the 360 they intend to take advantage off.

well. Microsoft probably arent as good at reducing costs as Sony. So i guess Sony has almost if not already caught up with Microsoft in terms of cost of the machine. If that is the case then sony has a major advantage since their machine has bluray wifi etc.

Whenever a developer say they are maxing something out, it will always, and i repeat always, be based on utilizing all the availible performance. Its never about having the best possible code for the hardware as you can more or less always optimize the code, and there will always be something you can do differently to make it run better.
Unless you are god that is. Then you will know exactly what the perfect code ...
ODST is the only one that comes to mind. I know it would be typical to say that Gears2 look the same as Gears1 but lets be honest. While its not a huge leap it still looks better. I think as people get used to better graphics they kind of forget how games used to look and so they assume the sequel looks the same. Ofcourse this is not the case with games that make huge leaps like Uncharted.
Yes its kind of a dumb article. But obviously its needed for some people in here, because as soon as they hear Naughty Dog say they have maxed out the PS3 they freak out. Atleast this will make it clear to those people on this site that Naughty Dog did infact max out the PS3 in terms of performance, but that you can always optimize the code to make it better.

Well for what ive experienced games sold on PSN is almost exclusively cheaper then games you buy in the store so i dont have a problem with sony setting the price.
