Better? In what way exactly?
PS: My votes for Fable 2. :P
This one's on the backburner for me (fire and all)... Fable 2, Dead Space, Gears and Fallout have my attention. As for FPS I'm keener on Left4Dead! ;)
Doom 3 came much later! lol
I might just have to go "get some"...
I think it's good news. But Take 2 outside of Rockstar and 2K is still on very shaky financial ground.
As for EA, yeah they still suck on a lot of fronts but there's no doubt that their new corporate structure and evolving culture are starting to reap rewards.
Their fresh IP outside of the yearly sporting franchises is incredibly varied and strong. Skate 2, Spore, Mirror's Edge, Bad Company, The Godfather 2, Fight Night 4 and the incredible looking Dead Space spe...
Yeah and it's cheaper than other titles which is a bonus to boot.
Loved the first one... will be getting the second one.
Yep I picked up a LE version for $12 AUD at EB and works fine after a 10 second Live update. :)
According to the latest issue of Gamerzine, Fable 2's world continues whilst you are not playing it. For example if you own shops and property they will continue to generate income, rent and change in value for when you return.
Molyneux even admits that they had to change the property pricing economy so that as the economy becomes more prosperous whilst you're away, property prices similarly inflate (and vice versa).
This would only further deepen the dimension ...
Is there something wrong with me if I had more fun with this than KOTOR?
Agreed. A 9/10 from EDGE is mightily impressive. :)
Yeah they fixed it mate and it's called "Just for Fun" Mode. It's a sandbox mode with all the unlocks that lets you do as you please without the goals, ruffians and immediacy of the campaign.
I find the irony in his statement that he punishes Too Human for it's specific vision, but doesn't consider at any stage that perhaps that his own vision may be just as fallible.
The 2 comes from a man who's looking for hits by giving a laughably bias and dishonest score instead of using his wit and dark humour that most Destructoid regulars enjoy.
Yeah my first time was 15hrs with a Champion.
But Jim Sterling just threw his scoring credibility overboard! lol
The irony is Denis is that your claims about forums and NeoGaf have been proven well and truly here in the N4G comments. There is no truth to this story and yet look at the trolls pounce. If you went to the review you'd find that CliffyB is not Cliff Bleszinski but merely a cheeky fraud much like...! ;)
Yeah I'm liking this new version of Peter. Still as enthusiastic and creative as ever but much more humble and realistic than before.
And thanks for putting the dodgy headline into context. As coolfool pointed out below he appears to share the perfectionism of Kojima. That no matter how good we may think their games are, they'll always feel they can do better. Which is great because that line of thinking has brought me MGS4 & Fable 2 in the one year! Lets hope they keep think...
Ouch?
Well early days, but the first VP was AAA in my personal opinion and only slightly off according to Metacritic with an 84 average.
This bodes well for the second. And should be a pick up for anybody who's curious because that price point is a freakin bargain. Banjo looks even better... and for the same price! :)
Agreed. Goldeneye XBLA has been completed for a while now and as part of the agreement MS offered a VC version to Nintendo, but the Nintendo head stonewalled and refused to have "a Nintendo title on another platform". Until that changes expect nothing more.
Sorry PHS... But there's an enthusiastic Too Human following that perhaps is not as apparent to people who spend the majority of their time here or other places b!tching about it. The sales are likely to reinforce that there are more than the two individuals you claim, that like this title.
There's no doubt the game's flawed, lacks polish and some bug killing insecticide... and in my view it's not AAA. But I've personally spent and enjoyed more time with this title than I have wi...
It all got whipped up because the Gearbox head said months ago they were working on a mega franchise that he couldn't oversell and then some of their team moved to MS as hit headlines today.
The head of Gearbox has confirmed today that the secret project is a shooter within a significant franchise but that it's multiplatform... hence not MS' Halo 4.

Actually real ads in GTAIV would make no sense whatsoever! lol
That'd destroy the whole satirical point of the franchise... God help me if they go anymore realistic and drop the satire, I may be stuck in Stilwater longer than I planned! lol
Now back to Albion...
