Switch is selling on hype and artificial shortages alone, once all that ends sales are going to tank hard, just like they did with the Wii U. As of now there is a very small selection of games available for it, with entire genres virtually absent, and not much coming in the future. Unless you simply must play the usual Mario, Zelda, and other Nintendo first party games, there is no reason to buy a Switch.
Why would you link to a gamingbolt article? That site is cancer.
Kind of ridiculous that this website uses a 4 star rating system, doesn't fit in at all with the industry. They could easily have just used a 5 star rating system without causing confusion.
The Switch is way too weak to run this game, be realistic.

"A+" for a cheap plug-and-play console that plays ugly, ancient Atari 2600 games and only includes a crappy composite video output? What is this clown smoking?
Nintendo aren't "innovators", they're just a company that tries to make the cheapest possible hardware, throw in a gimmick to reel people in, and try to profit by marking everything way up. Their time has come and gone in the video game industry, their past glory is long gone.
Agreed, not worth the risk.
Agreed, I reported it too. Good point, this is a sleazy tactic to get people to click on the link.
Excellent review, thanks to the author Geoffrey Wright for a very good article. I will be playing this game on my PS4 and/or XB1 when it comes out.
And I love cats, they're very intelligent and funny creatures, so that should make the (bad?) puns easier to handle.
You're wrong, the phrase is "shape up or ship out", look it up:

In the end, the lack of 3rd party games will be the downfall of the Switch.
There aren't going to be many games released for the Switch, since it is unable to handle current generation 3rd party games. People are buying the Switch for Nintendo's own first party games, and that's it. Nintendo can't deliver more than a handful of those games each generation.
Sure, Switch doesn't need to be on the same level as the PS4 and XBox One. But it won't be getting many 3rd party games (other than some indies) for that reason, so it's library is going to be very small and lacking in many genres, just like the Wii U. And like the Wii U, it's not going to have a long successful run, when people start to realize that their aren't going to be many games available over its lifespan.
Except the PS4 and XBox One are far more powerful than the Switch, and can deliver far superior games in every way, so you're just trying to make excuses for Nintendo's mediocre products. How about actually demanding that they do a better job on the design of their gaming hardware, instead of eternally making excuses for it?
It's a simple, cartoony game with cel-shaded graphics, no anti-aliasing, and very basic textures. It looks worse than most modern games on the PS4 and XBox One.
Reported for inappropriate content. Keep it clean, there's no reason to get nasty.
Yes it is underpowered, but people do care. And they're going to care a lot more when they realize that almost no 3rd party developers will port the more complex games to the Switch (since it can't match the PS4 and XBox One), meaning that the library of games will be pretty slim. It's fine for people who only buy Nintendo games, but anyone else who wants more variety will probably just pass on the Switch.
"It would be nice to get the bi yearly or yearly Assassins Creed titles, Call of Duty, Battlefront and Castle Wolfenstein. However, Nintendo has always thrived without those games."
The Wii U didn't "thrive" without those games, in fact it failed in large part because of a complete lack of them (and for several other reasons too). If the Switch doesn't get many big 3rd party games, it's going to have the same issues as well.
ARMS really is a mediocre game, and it's built around the lame motion control gimmick. And Splatoon just looks like an FPS for preteens, really embarrassing stuff. Hard to believe that the Switch will succeed with poor games like these.
