Something about 3rd person games on the 360 just doesn't work.
It works perfectly on the PS3 though.
I think it's the controls.
Anyway, the truth finally reveals itself. It actually has more than 2 episodes being released for the game. Microsoft only paid for 2 out of how much ever Rockstar is gonna release.
So what's the point of buying the 360 version?....unless you're a hardcore fanatic.
The production cost of the game was MUCH less than $50,000,000.00
If this is true, then what was the point of MS paying for additional content just for exclusivity in 2008?
If the rest of the content will be multiplatform then why pay for 2 exclusive episodes out of the, let's say, 10 Rockstar releases?
I really don't see it as an advantage, but again this is only for die hard fans of the series, I would say I'm sort of die-hard, but not to this level.
I thought you were at least smart enough to tell the difference between discussions about movies and video games.
Impressive features.
I like the GPS system, especially the talking one.
I wonder if it says it like, "turn left on Rogers Rd" or just "make left turn"
Either way, I WANT THIS GAME!!!!
You're fishing for a complaint and it isn't convincing.
My customer service experience with them when I had problems adding my cc to my PSN account was a very pleasant and satisfying experience.
The gentleman on the phone was very courteous and understand and guided me in a very proficient manner.
There would obviously be those who may have experiences that weren't very enthusing, but the majority of the remarks are positive.
That is correct sir.
Rockstar has no need to release actual gameplay vids.
They've shown in-game graphics so we know what it looks like.
You'll get all the gameplay videos and images you want when the reviews are out, which is before the game is actually released.
Rockstar knows what they're doing, no reason to worry, I'm sure the pre-order sales are already through the roof. Almost everyone I know already has their copy pre-ordered with a few waiting until next month ...
You are aware that HVD is meant for enterprises right?
In other words HVD will be like the replacement for Betamax for Hollywood Studios who require a large medium for their raw film, while Blu-Ray is the format for home use.
A little research can go a long way.
We'll get gameplay vids before the game is released, but they don't really have to cuz it'll sell either way.
Funny thing is almost everyone is talking about the PS3 being a Blu-Ray player and video game console in one for the enjoyment of the entire family.
It's good Microsoft focuses on games only, but why are they trying to make Sony look like the wrong ones for focusing on both gaming and movies?
If I can get 2 for 1 why wouldn't I?
The Japanese are well informed about gaming news and with the announcement of the MGS4 bundle many are holding out until. Yakuza will also drive a lot of sales.
If you don't have a PSP, it doesn't mean they're obligated to cater to the PS2 crowd.
It's just like any other exclusive game. If you want to play an exclusive you have to get the system it's on, simple.
Could this mean that developers will start using the Blu-Ray add on for their bigger games or will it just function as a movie player?
Everytime I read more and more info it just gets me more and more depressed because I can't play the damn game right now!
54 days is right there, but still feels so far
I'm actually trying to find a store here in NYC that is gonna have the midnight launch, I'm thinking Virgin Megastore, but I haven't heard anything so far.
Anyone have any info?
You're right because even my mom is looking for to playing this game and I'm being very serious, she's in her 50's.
I should since the save data would be on your hard drive, unless you deleted it. It would also give people that bought Prologue an adavantage to advance further with the cars they've already purchased and so on.
I can't see why they wouldn't incorporate the save data from prologue in the full version.
GT5P is going to sell a lot. I'm buying it as well as ALL of my friends.
It isn't the first time they're doing a Prologue, every GT prologue they've released has gone platinum, that's why the full game is always so amazing because it's tweaked according to the feedback they receive from the Prologue.
Cuz he probably played it?
Who knows, all I know is that every journalist that reported on the PS3 version said it ran perfectly, so this article is pure grade A BS!
FAKE
Cheers to that
It actually depends on when they release the content in '09.
Not every month in the year has awesome games being released.
If they release the content during the drought, usually between Feb-Apr, it could see some favorable success.
