Microsoft has no vision for hardware, hence the reason for upgrading every 4yrs.
Of course you 360 owners would prefer to have a new console in 09 because your current console is blatantly showing its' inferiority.
I think it's a level of shame that you want to cast aside in favor of a new system to boast about, that will most likely end up in the same kettle of water as the current console.

Who cares about the Wii's software sales? Obviously not top developers, if they cared DMC4 would have been on the Wii, but until then the Wii's software lineup is the worst out of all 3 consoles....unless you're non-hardcore.
I was hoping really hard it would have been 60FPS lol although I was positive it wouldn't happen, but I'm glad it doesn't drop lower that the 30FPS in all of the previews.

Personally, I use the PS3 hard drive as a backup for my PC so all of my music, movies and pictures are stored on there(a hefty number of gigs). I don't own an external HDD and I don't have a wireless or wired network up yet for streaming media from the PC, so it comes in handy in that regard.
Yes it was a smart idea, it's power to the gamers, thinking about the consumer first. Getting everything straight out the box was very smart. Why should the consumer have to spend hundreds more on peripherals, after dropping hundreds on the console itself?
The PS3 requires no additional purchases after purchasing the console, everything else is optional.
However there are games on the 360 that require a HDD to play, which makes purchasing a hard drive necessary. If it's necessary,...

Actually, there's a new Heavy Rain trailer which hasn't been revealed to the public. The graphics are said to be a lot more advanced than the pre-alpha one that's been around awhile now.
So so funny, but true.
I am looking forward to this game with wide eyes and open arms. It's so uniquely interesting that I can't help but buy it when it's released.
The community for this game will be in the millions by its' 1yr anniversary and I'm glad I'll be in there to experience every moment of it.
