If the content is released in October, who's going to have time to play it if you own a PS3? From September the PS3 games are going to be rolling in month after month. If you only own a 360, it's going to be a nice branch off until Gears 2.
I personally don't find it very important as long as it isn't GTA:Tokyo or GTA:London being exclusive to the 360, which it isn't, then I'm not missing out on anything. Multiplayer will be more than enough to keep me going with this game until MGS4, ...

The game hasn't entered the beta stage of development. Framerate issues are taken care of during beta.
However I'm really looking forward to Far Cry 2, it looks amazing, especially the weather effects.

The size is the only gripe I have with the system and I am positive the slim/lite version of the PS3 along with a price drop will sell in ridiculous numbers. Hell, even I'll be buying the slim/lite even though I have a 60G.
And I know 5 people who are waiting to purchase a PS3 for GTAIV, another 5 waiting patiently for FFXIII who are contempt with their PS2 until then and a few waiting for MGS4.
